AIDEN'S POV
Aiden rode through the path leading out of the pack house gates.
He did not like this territory.
It was old and ancient.
It had been so far behind that all they did was simply collect taxes.
There was nothing to it.
To think that of all territories they owned this would be the one that held the moonstone.
He briefly thought of his brother and shook his head.
Whether Bale liked it or not, he was sending him back home.
The boy was fooling his head with stories that would put him in harm's way.
He didn't need that.
He was already too weak for that.
They rode on in silence as the men who knew where the mines were, led the way.
They rode through the small houses and Aiden didn't think the population here was over twenty thousand men and women.
That was a ridiculous number compared to the other territories they own.
He sighed heavily to himself.
He never really cared much for the rural wolves whom were under them.
