Helping Freya Smith lie back on the pillow, Harvey Fisher pulled the thin blanket over her, his tone as gentle as an older brother's.
"Be good, close your eyes and sleep for a while."
Freya Smith nodded and quietly closed her eyes, and Harvey Fisher stood up and gestured to Freya's mom and Olivia Parker.
The two stepped out of the room, and he followed them out.
"Doctor?" Freya's mom looked worried.
Harvey Fisher wiped his glasses, put them back on, and gave Freya's mom a reassuring smile. "Don't worry too much, this is just an emotional fluctuation, a very normal phenomenon during the recovery period. Keep an eye on her tonight, and when she wakes up tomorrow, bring her to my office. I'll give her another session."
"Okay." Freya's mom nodded. "I'm really troubling you, coming over in person so late."
"It's fine, I'll go in and check on her again."
