More than a thousand demons were supposed to secure Midgar's victory over Adam, and he had almost succeeded.
But none of the lords, almost none, had noticed that Adam hadn't used his needle once during the entire battle. Only Ergander and Blafor had picked up on this, though even they weren't entirely sure.
Now, when Adam summoned his needle, it became clear to everyone who would emerge victorious in this battle.
"N-No…" Midgar's voice trembled. "This can't be!"
Part of his demon army was wiped out by a single slash from Adam. He couldn't have imagined such a thing even in his worst nightmare, but unfortunately for him, it was reality.
Adam, in turn, looked back.
There were still many demons on the rocky plain, but none of them dared to attack him. They understood what would happen to them if they did.
However, Adam saw no point in fighting them all. What he had done a moment ago was a demonstration of his power.
