After Midgar used his constellation, the evenly matched battle quickly turned into a hopeless struggle for Adam.
"It looks bad. It seems like this is the end for him," one Lord muttered as he watched the battle from the sidelines.
"Yeah… He fought well, but the difference in their levels is just too great. If his opponent had been a Baron, he would surely have won."
On the other side, a few more Lords watched as the demons surrounded Adam.
"He has no more tricks up his sleeve. He's desperately using the last bits of his energy. He can't hide it anymore."
The Lord with long black hair narrowed his eyes.
"What a pity. If it weren't for this battle, we would have witnessed the birth of a new Second-Rank Phantom very soon."
The other Lord sighed heavily, his gaze filled with sadness.
"He was just a little short of becoming a blazing flame. Still, I think we can all agree that it was a worthy fight."
