...

Both men lay flat on their backs in the center of the ring, staring up at the bright arena lights, completely physically exhausted. The Orlando crowd rewarded their incredible effort with a deafening standing ovation, chanting "THIS IS AWESOME!" at a fever pitch. "What an absolute war we are witnessing!" Cole practically preached into the microphone. "These two men are leaving pieces of their souls on that canvas!"

"They hate each other, Michael!" Lawler added. "This is personal! Sandro is fighting to protect the people he loves, and Barrett is fighting to destroy the empire!"

Sandro and Barrett used the ropes to pull themselves up, meeting in the middle of the ring. They abandoned all technique, trading heavy, looping, exhausted right hands.

Boo! the crowd yelled as Barrett landed a punch.

Yay! they cheered as Sandro returned fire.

Boo! Yay! Boo! Yay!

Sandro ducked a wild swing, bounced off the ropes, and launched himself into the air, connecting with a beautiful flying forearm smash that knocked Barrett off his feet.

Sandro hit a quick kip up, the adrenaline suddenly flooding back into his system.

Barrett staggered up. Sandro hit a rapid fire combination of strikes, a left jab, a right cross, a spinning back kick to the gut, finishing with a picture perfect step up enzuigiri that sent the challenger crashing into the ropes!

Sandro backed into the corner, his eyes burning with intensity. He slapped his thigh, preparing to hit the Last Note elbow strike to finish the match.

But outside the ring, David Otunga leaped onto the ring apron, waving his arms to distract the referee.

On the opposite side, Curtis Axel and Heath Slater slid onto the apron. Slater grabbed Sandro by the ankle, holding the champion in place. Sandro angrily kicked Slater off, but the distraction was fatal.

As Sandro turned back around, Barrett caught him out of nowhere, spinning him around into the Winds of Change!

The massive spinning side slam planted Sandro with bone crushing force.

Barrett hooked the leg!

One!

Two!

Two and nine tenths!

Sandro thrust his shoulder up, breaking the pinfall!

The Orlando crowd shrieked in absolute terror, fully believing the title was gone.

"He kicked out!" Cole screamed. "The God King simply refuses to die!"

Wade Barrett's face twisted into a mask of pure, homicidal rage. He had hit his signature moves, he had his lumberjacks interfere, and he still couldn't put the champion away. Barrett scrambled to his feet, rolling out of the ring.

"Clear it out!" Barrett screamed at Ryback and Mason Ryan, pointing aggressively at the main broadcast desk. "Strip the table! Strip the table right now!"

"What is he doing?!" Lawler panicked as Ryback and Mason Ryan marched over to the commentary desk. The massive enforcers ripped the top off the desk, throwing the heavy television monitors onto the floor, completely dismantling the broadcast position.

"They are going to break his neck!" JBL yelled, ripping his headset off as he and the other commentators scrambled out of the way.

Inside the ring, Barrett grabbed Sandro by the hair, dragging the semi conscious champion toward the ropes. Barrett shoved Sandro under the bottom rope, sending him tumbling to the outside floor directly in front of the stripped announce desk.

Charles Robinson had seen enough. The senior official leaned through the ropes, pointing a warning finger directly at Wade Barrett.

"That is it! I am calling this match!" Robinson shouted, reaching for his belt to signal for a disqualification.

But before Robinson could wave for the bell, Heath Slater reached up, grabbed the referee by the collar of his striped shirt, and violently yanked him out of the ring!

Robinson crashed hard onto the floor. Justin Gabriel stepped forward, delivering a brutal soccer kick to the referee's ribs, knocking the official completely unconscious.

The match had officially devolved into absolute anarchy.

"The referee is down!" Cole screamed into his backup microphone, standing on his chair near the barricade. "The Nexus just took out Charles Robinson! There is no law! There is no order! It is a complete mugging!"

All eight lumberjacks closed in on Sandro Zhang. The God King was lying on his back, gasping for air, hopelessly surrounded by a wall of muscle.

Sandro tried to fight back. He pushed himself up to one knee, throwing a desperate right hand that caught Darren Young in the jaw. But Mason Ryan immediately stepped forward, driving a heavy knee into Sandro's face, snapping his head back.

Ryback grabbed Sandro by the throat, deadlifting the champion off his feet. With Mason Ryan grabbing Sandro's legs, the two powerhouses hoisted the God King high into the air, positioning him for a catastrophic, double team spike powerbomb directly through the exposed announce desk.

On the entrance stage, the three women could no longer stand by and watch.

AJ Lee, Nikki Bella, and Alexa Bliss let out screams of pure horror. The three women sprinted down the long steel ramp, desperately trying to reach ringside to save the man they loved.

But they were too far away. The ramp was simply too long.

Wade Barrett wasn't going to let the opportunity slip through his fingers. He wanted to make sure Sandro Zhang never walked again.

Barrett quickly scaled the nearest turnbuckle, climbing all the way to the top rope. He looked down at the floor, where Ryback and Mason Ryan were holding Sandro helplessly in the air above the desk.

Barrett pulled down his red elbow pad, exposing the striking surface. He took a deep breath, his eyes gleaming with sick, twisted satisfaction.

He was going to leap from the top rope, delivering a diving Bull Hammer directly to Sandro's skull at the exact same fraction of a second that Ryback and Ryan drove the champion through the table. It was a combination designed to snap a human spine in half.

The Orlando crowd was screaming, a terrifying, deafening wall of panic washing over the arena. Barrett let out a roar, bent his knees, and launched his 246 pound frame off the top turnbuckle, flying through the humid night air directly toward the helpless God King.

Time seemed to slow to an agonizing crawl, as Barrett soared through the humid Orlando air, his massive frame descending like a guided missile, his padded elbow cocked and ready to deliver a lethal blow.

Below him, Ryback and Mason Ryan gripped Sandro tightly, locking his arms and legs in place, preparing to drive the champion spine first into the unforgiving steel and exposed wiring of the dismantled broadcast desk.

But Sandro was not a man who surrendered to inevitability.

With a guttural, desperate roar, Sandro violently threw his body weight forward, tucking his chin and violently kicking his legs out. The sudden, explosive shift in gravity caught the two massive enforcers completely off guard. Ryback's sweaty grip slipped. Mason Ryan stumbled forward, losing his balance.

Sandro slid out of their grasp, dropping straight down to the thin protective mats like a stone.

Barrett was already fully committed to the dive. With his target suddenly vanishing beneath him, the Nexus leader plummeted helplessly through the empty air.

Barrett crashed chest first into the stripped commentary desk.

The impact was absolutely sickening. The thick table immediately splintered into jagged fragments. The heavy framework buckled and collapsed under the sheer force of Barrett's 246 pound frame. Monitors shattered, cables sparked, and a cloud of dust and debris exploded into the air as the desk was completely obliterated.

The Orlando crowd shrieked, a mixture of horror and absolute ecstasy vibrating through the arena.

"He missed!" Cole screamed, his voice shredding as he gripped the edge of the barricade. "Sandro slipped away! Wade Barrett just drove his own body through the announce table! The challenger just crashed and burned!"

"That is the ring awareness of a true champion!" JBL roared, pumping his fists in the air, completely forgetting about his ruined workspace. "The God King used their own mass against them! He survived the firing squad!"

"Look at the carnage!" Lawler yelled, clutching his chest. "Barrett might have just broken his own ribs!"

Sandro hit the floor hard, rolling away from the wreckage, gasping for air. His white gear was covered in sweat, dirt, and a thin layer of blood from his split lip. He leaned against the barricade, his chest heaving as he tried to pull oxygen back into his burning lungs.

But the match was far from over. Barrett was down, but the lumberjacks were very much awake.

Ryback and Mason Ryan turned around, their faces twisting into masks of pure, humiliated rage. They realized they had just inadvertently helped destroy their own leader. Ryback let out a furious battle cry and charged directly at Sandro, looking to spear the champion right through the barricade.

Sandro's survival instincts flared. He sidestepped at the absolute last fraction of a second.

Ryback couldn't stop his forward momentum. The Big Guy plowed headfirst into the heavy barricade, the bending violently under the impact. Ryback collapsed to the floor, clutching his skull.

Mason Ryan lunged forward, grabbing Sandro by the throat. The Welsh powerhouse backed the God King against the ring apron, lifting his fist to deliver a heavy strike.

Sandro blocked the punch, delivering a sharp, stinging jawbreaker that stunned the giant. Sandro followed up with a vicious spinning back kick directly to Ryan's kneecap, dropping the big man to one knee, before hitting a stiff running knee lift that laid Ryan out flat.

"Sandro is fighting them off!" Cole yelled, the sheer disbelief evident in his voice. "He is taking on the Nexus with his bare hands!"

But the numbers game was a cruel reality. As Sandro turned around to catch his breath, Curtis Axel and Darren Young blindsided him. Axel delivered a heavy clubbing blow to the back of Sandro's neck, while Young chop blocked the champion's injured knee.

Sandro crashed to the floor. Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, Michael Tarver, and David Otunga immediately swarmed him like a pack of starving wolves.

It was a systematic, ruthless mugging. Heavy combat boots rained down on Sandro's ribs, back, and shoulders. The God King curled into a defensive ball, desperately trying to protect his head and neck as the six men stomped the life out of him.

On the entrance ramp, AJ Lee, Nikki Bella, and Alexa Bliss finally reached ringside. The three women were screaming in terror, their faces pale as they watched the man they loved being beaten into a bloody pulp.

"Get away from him!" AJ shrieked, climbing onto the bottom rung of the steel barricade, desperately reaching over to grab Heath Slater's shirt.

Slater turned around, an ugly, arrogant sneer on his face. He aggressively swatted AJ's hand away, shoving her backward. Nikki caught AJ before she could fall, her eyes blazing with fury.

Sandro saw the shove.

Even through the blinding pain, even through the exhaustion of a twenty five minute war, the sight of Slater putting his hands on his family triggered something deep, dark, and utterly terrifying within the God King.

Sandro didn't just stand up, he exploded.

Ignoring the heavy boots crashing into his ribs, Sandro lunged upward, wrapping his hands securely around Heath Slater's throat. With a terrifying roar that echoed over the crowd noise, Sandro lifted Slater off his feet and forcefully drove him backward into the steel ring post. Slater's head bounced off the metal with a sickening thud, and he crumpled to the floor, instantly unconscious.

"Look at the fire in his eyes!" Lawler shouted. "Sandro is running on pure, unfiltered adrenaline!"

Sandro turned to face the remaining lumberjacks, his chest heaving, his fists clenched, daring them to step forward. Otunga, Tarver, Axel, and Young hesitated, genuinely unnerved by the murderous aura radiating from the champion.

But their hesitation only lasted a moment. They realized they still had a four on one advantage. They raised their fists, slowly closing the circle around the isolated champion.

Then, the arena sound system crackled.

"I'M HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD!"

The heavy rock anthem of Dolph Ziggler blared through the speakers.

The Orlando crowd let out a roar so loud it physically shook the camera lenses. Fans leaped over their seats, pointing frantically at the entrance stage.

Dolph Ziggler sprinted through the curtain. He wasn't dressed to wrestle, he was in jeans and a t-shirt, his ribs still heavily taped from the brutal match he had just survived an hour ago. But he wasn't coming empty handed. Ziggler was clutching a steel folding chair in his right hand.

And he wasn't coming alone.

BRRRRR-APPADOO!

The blaring horns of John Cena's theme hit the speakers.

"AWWWWW ORLANDO! DON'T YOU DARE BE SOUR!"

The infectious gospel intro of The New Day echoed through the building.

The crowd volume reached a fever pitch, an absolute crescendo of joy and adrenaline. Bursting through the curtain right behind Ziggler was the franchise player himself, John Cena, his jaw set in a hard, uncompromising line. Flanking Cena were Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods. And sprinting out right behind them, hyping up the crowd with wild intensity, were the World Tag Champs, Jimmy and Jey Uso.

The cavalry had arrived.

"It's the RAW locker room!" Cole shrieked, jumping up and down. "Ziggler brought the equalizer! Cena! The New Day! The Usos! They are coming to level the playing field!"

"This is exactly what the Nexus deserves!" JBL boomed, a wide, vicious grin spreading across his face. "You want to play the numbers game?! You want to jump a man from behind?! Well, reap what you sow, you cowards!"

The seven superstars charged down the long steel ramp like a battalion of soldiers. The Nexus lumberjacks abandoned Sandro, turning to face the incoming threat, their faces suddenly pale with panic.

The collision at ringside was absolute, unfiltered chaos.

Ziggler was the first to strike. He swung the steel chair horizontally, connecting flush with David Otunga's ribs, folding the University graduate in half. Ziggler raised the chair again and brought it down hard across Otunga's back, neutralizing him completely.

John Cena tackled Michael Tarver, unleashing a flurry of furious right hands. Cena dragged Tarver to his feet, hoisted him onto his shoulders, and delivered a brutal Attitude Adjustment right there on the thin floor mats.

Jimmy and Jey Uso zeroed in on Curtis Axel. The twins moved with perfect synchronization, each launching a devastating superkick that caught Axel simultaneously on both sides of his jaw, knocking him out cold before he even hit the ground.

Mason Ryan stumbled back to his feet, letting out a roar as he tried to swat Kofi Kingston out of the air. But Big E was waiting. The New Day powerhouse lowered his shoulder, wrapping his thick arms around Ryan's waist, and launched the massive Welshman overhead with a spectacular belly to belly suplex that sent Ryan crashing into the timekeeper's area.

"It is an absolute massacre on the outside!" Lawler cheered wildly. "The Nexus is being dismantled piece by piece!"

"They brought this on themselves!" JBL yelled over the noise. "Sandro Zhang stood alone, and the locker room finally woke up to defend their King!"

Sandro stood near the barricade, breathing heavily, watching the chaotic brawl unfold. He looked over at Dolph Ziggler, who was standing over a fallen Otunga, still gripping the steel chair. Ziggler locked eyes with the champion and gave him a firm, determined nod. He had kept his promise. When Sandro needed backup, Ziggler was there.

Sandro returned the nod, an unspoken bond of respect cementing between them.

The God King turned his attention back to the wreckage of the announce desk.

Wade Barrett was slowly, agonizingly pushing himself up out of the splintered wood and twisted metal. His face was covered in dust, his nose was bleeding, and his eyes were wild with a desperate, frantic panic. He looked around, realizing his army had been completely wiped out. He was all alone.

Sandro stalked forward, grabbing Barrett by the scruff of his neck. He didn't say a word. He violently hauled the challenger out of the wreckage, dragging him across the mats, and forcefully threw him under the bottom rope back into the ring. Robinson was still unconscious near the barricade, but sprinting down the ramp, wearing a fresh striped shirt, was senior referee John Cone.
