...

Justin Roberts stood in the center of the ring, raising his microphone high. "Ladies and gentlemen... please welcome... the NEWWWWW WWE United States Champion... The World's Largest Athlete... The BIGGG SHOWWWW!"

The fans cheered even louder as the giant slowly, methodically walked down the incredibly long entrance ramp. He stepped up the solid steel steps, entirely hooking his massive leg over the top rope, and entered the squared circle. The ringside crew immediately handed him a live microphone.

The music faded, but the crowd entirely refused to stop cheering. A massive, unified chant of "YOU DESERVE IT! YOU DESERVE IT!" completely echoed through the arena.

Big Show stood in the center of the ring, looking around the arena. Tears welled up in his eyes, completely moved by the overwhelming support. He raised the microphone to his mouth, taking a deep, heavy breath.

"Thank you," Big Show began, his deep, gravelly voice entirely echoing through the stadium. "I have been in this industry for a very, very long time. I have been in the ring with absolute legends, Hall of Famers, and some of the toughest men to ever walk the face of the earth."

The giant looked down at the gold resting on his shoulder.

"But I can honestly tell you, right here, right now... last night at Extreme Rules was absolute, horrifying hell," Big Show confessed, his tone entirely serious. "Sandro Zhang might be an arrogant, manipulative, entitled billionaire... but my god, that kid is a warrior. He threw cash boxes at my head. He sprayed me with fire extinguishers. He jumped off a damn eighteen wheeler production truck and put us both through a table. He completely pushed me to the absolute physical limit."

The crowd cheered the sheer brutality of the recap.

"There was a moment last night," Big Show continued, pacing slowly across the canvas. "When Bobby Lashley hit me with that Spear... and I looked up and saw the entire Undisputed System surrounding me... I honestly thought it was completely over. I thought the 376 day reign of terror was going to continue."

The giant smiled, a massive grin completely taking over his face.

"But I didn't expect the Beast Incarnate to march down that ramp to avenge his Advocate," Big Show laughed. "I didn't expect the Scottish Psychopath to come down and entirely even the odds. And I absolutely, entirely never expected that at the very last possible second... Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods would finally wake up, look the devil in the eye, and completely betray the God King to help me win this beautiful title!"

The crowd absolutely erupted at the mention of the mutiny!

Big Show raised the United States Championship high into the air. "The Triple Crown era is entirely dead! The empire is completely broken! And I promise you, as your new United States Champion, I will defend this title with absolute honor, and I will make sure Sandro Zhang never gets his dirty hands on it again!"

The arena completely blew the roof off the building, celebrating the passionate, highly emotional promo.

But the celebration was far from over.

Suddenly, the haunting, incredibly powerful wail of the Scottish war pipes completely cut through the arena!

The fans completely lost their minds for the second time in less than five minutes!

"It's Drew!" Cole shouted excitedly. "The Scottish Psychopath is here!"

Stepping out onto the entrance stage, entirely radiating absolute, undeniable swagger and raw confidence, was Drew McIntyre. He was dressed in his dark tartan wrestling trunks, a long leather duster coat, and his heavy combat boots. He wasn't carrying a steel chair tonight, he was entirely carrying a live microphone.

McIntyre walked down the ramp with absolute, unmitigated purpose. He didn't play to the crowd, but he didn't ignore them either. He looked entirely like a man who had completely cast off his heavy corporate chains and was finally ready to take over the main event scene.

He climbed the steel steps, entirely stepping through the ropes, and walked directly into the center of the ring. He stood entirely face to face with the four hundred pound giant.

The tension was immediate. The crowd buzzed, entirely unsure of what the Psychopath was about to do.

McIntyre slowly raised his microphone, his dark eyes completely locked onto the Big Show.

"First of all, big man," Drew began, his thick Scottish accent echoing smoothly through the arena. "Congratulations. I mean that sincerely. You went to absolute war last night. You survived the Extreme Rules environment, and you completely stripped that sociopathic billionaire of his title. You did what the entire locker room has been entirely failing to do for a solid year."

Big Show nodded his head slowly, entirely accepting the respect, but keeping his guard up.

"But..." Drew continued, his voice entirely dropping into a much lower, more dangerous register. "Let's be entirely honest with each other here, Show. Let's not rewrite history just because you're holding the shiny gold belt."

Drew took a single step closer, entirely craning his neck to look the giant directly in the eye.

"When Bobby Lashley cut you in half with that Spear," Drew stated bluntly. "When Wade Barrett and Ryback were entirely preparing to drag your unconscious body up for the absolute execution... you were completely finished. If it wasn't for me marching down that ramp with a steel chair... if it wasn't for me completely taking out the Undisputed System boys and Lashley... you wouldn't be standing here right now."

The crowd let out a low, highly intrigued "Oooooh."

"I am the one who completely opened the eyes of Big E, Kofi, and Woods," Drew reminded the giant, his voice entirely filled with absolute conviction. "I planted the seed of rebellion in catering. I cleared the absolute path for you to hit that Weapon of Mass Destruction. So while you deserve all the credit in the world for surviving the match..."

Drew McIntyre completely reached out, tapping a single, heavy finger entirely against the center plate of the United States Championship.

"...You and I both know that you completely owe me," Drew declared smoothly. "I liberated this division from the God King. And because I completely saved your giant hide last night, I entirely feel that you owe me a guaranteed title shot at that United States Championship."

The Big Show's eyes entirely narrowed. The giant slowly raised his microphone, his grip tightening entirely around the handle as the crowd absolutely exploded into a deafening roar, completely desperate to see the two massive titans clash for the newly liberated gold.

Big Show did not look away from Drew McIntyre.

The cheers rolling through the arena were so loud they seemed to shake the steel in the ring. Fans were already leaning forward in their seats, sensing that this was not going to end with a simple back and forth. It never did when two men like this were standing face to face in the center of the ring with a championship hanging between them like a loaded weapon.

The giant slowly lifted the microphone to his mouth, his expression still hard, but there was a calmness in his eyes now too. Not softness. Just certainty.

"Drew," he said, his voice deep and steady, "I hear you."

The crowd gave a loud reaction right away, because they knew a measured Big Show was often more dangerous than an angry one.

"You're right about one thing," Show continued, nodding once. "You did come down there last night. You did swing that chair. You did fight your way through those clowns. And I am not standing here trying to take that away from you."

Drew's jaw tightened slightly, but he said nothing.

"But," Big Show added, "the way you're talking right now? It sounds a whole lot like you're not asking for a shot. It sounds like you're announcing one."

The crowd gave a sharp burst of noise at that, and Drew smirked just a little, as if he had expected that answer.

Big Show shifted the title on his shoulder and kept going.

"And if we're doing this honestly," he said, turning slightly to glance at the championship, "then yes, maybe you do deserve a shot. Maybe more than that. But if we're handing out credit for last night, then let's not pretend you were the only one out there helping me survive."

Drew raised an eyebrow.

Big Show pointed a thick finger straight at him.

"Brock Lesnar helped too."

That got a huge rise out of the crowd. A wave of noise crashed through the building, because everybody knew exactly what Show was doing now. He was turning the table.

He was forcing Drew to hear the one name he clearly did not want dragged into this argument.

"He's got him there!" Cole laughed on commentary. "The Big Show is using Drew's own absolute logic against him!"

"It's a completely valid point!" Lawler agreed. "Lesnar did just as much damage to the Undisputed System as McIntyre did!"

Drew gave a low, unimpressed snort into the microphone and shook his head.

"Brock Lesnar?" he repeated, like the name itself was almost ridiculous in the context. "You want to compare me to Brock Lesnar?"

Big Show shrugged a little, the title still resting on his shoulder. "I'm saying if we're being fair, then fairness applies to everybody. Because as I recall, I didn't just see a Scottish Psychopath swinging a chair. I also saw the Beast Incarnate. I saw Brock Lesnar march down that exact same ramp. I saw Lesnar throw Bobby Lashley across the ring with a German Suplex. I saw Lesnar catch Kofi Kingston out of mid-air and hit an F-5 that completely shook the building."

Drew laughed once, dry and dismissive.

"Aye, and that's supposed to impress me?" he shot back. "Big man, Brock Lesnar showed up, threw his weight around for one night, and now suddenly he's owed the world? Since when did this place become charity for part time wrecking balls?"

The crowd murmured and then popped loudly at that line. Even Big Show's mouth twitched, as if he almost respected the comeback despite himself.

Drew took a slow step forward now, his voice sharpening.

"Let's be brutally honest, Show. Brock Lesnar comes back, beats Bobby Lashley in his return match, and suddenly everybody wants to act like he's the second coming. But what has he done since? What has he proved? He hasn't fought through the nonsense we've all been fighting through. He hasn't bled for this company the way some of us have. He hasn't even had the decency to stay around long enough to earn the right to demand anything."

The crowd let out a mixed reaction, some agreeing, some booing because Brock Lesnar was Brock Lesnar and always split the room.

Drew turned slightly, gesturing out toward the audience.

"I was the absolute workhorse of the Undisputed System! I am a former Tag Team Champion! I have stood in this ring and I have entirely defeated some of the absolute best talent this company has to offer while Sandro Zhang hid behind my back! I am the one who completely dismantled Jack Swagger last night in a one on one match! I have completely earned my stripes! Brock Lesnar hasn't proven a damn thing, but I have proven that I am the most dangerous man on Monday Night RAW. I am far, far more deserving of a title shot than the Beast!"

That brought out another wave of noise. The fans were loving every second of the tension, because Drew was sounding more and more like a man who had already decided this was his moment.

Big Show looked at him for a long second, then slowly brought the microphone back up. "Maybe so," he said. "But you don't get to tell me to ignore Brock's part in all this just because you don't like him."

Drew scoffed.

"I'm not asking you to ignore him. I'm telling you he's not the issue. I am."

The line got a big reaction from the crowd. The two men stood there, nearly chest to chest now, while the arena buzzed with anticipation. This was not the kind of argument that ended cleanly. It was the kind that usually ended with fists flying and officials sprinting.

Big Show stared at Drew for another beat, then finally exhaled through his nose and nodded once.

"Alright, Drew. Alright. You want to talk about proving things?" Big Show asked, entirely lowering his microphone and staring absolute daggers into the eyes of the Scottish Psychopath. "You want to prove that you are the most dangerous man on this brand? You want to prove that you completely deserve to jump the line and fight for this United States Championship?"

The Big Show took a step forward, entirely utilizing his massive, four hundred pound frame to completely intimidate the challenger.

"I will give you your title shot," Big Show declared, his voice dropping into a deadly, entirely serious tone. "I will sign the contract. But only under one, non negotiable condition."

Drew McIntyre didn't flinch. He entirely stood his ground, his eyes burning with absolute determination. "Name it."

"You get your championship match at the next Pay Per View," Big Show stated flawlessly. "But only if you can completely prove yourself by stepping into this ring, lacing up your boots, and managing to defeat me... tonight. In a one on one, non title match in the main event of Monday Night RAW."

The Orlando crowd absolutely fundamentally exploded! A massive, deafening roar of pure excitement entirely completely swept through the Amway Center!

"Oh my god!" Cole shrieked at the commentary desk! "The Big Show just laid down the absolute ultimate challenge! He is putting Drew McIntyre to the absolute test tonight!"

"This is exactly what a fighting champion looks like!" Lawler cheered wildly! "Sandro Zhang would have called his lawyers to get out of this, but the Big Show is actively inviting the fight!"

Drew stood completely still for a moment, weighing it. The crowd was already losing its mind, because the challenge was simple and brutal and exactly the kind of thing they wanted.

Big Show's stare never left him.

"But if you can't beat me," he added, "then you wait your turn."

Drew's lips pressed into a thin line.

The giant held the microphone close again, his voice dropping just a little. "That's fair."

Drew took a breath, rolling his shoulders once, then looked out at the crowd. The fans were cheering loudly now, sensing the moment that was about to lock in this entire rivalry.

"You know what, Show?" Drew said at last. "That actually is fair."

The arena erupted again.

He faced the giant and stepped forward until they were just inches apart.

"I'll beat you tonight," Drew said firmly. "And when I do, you won't have a single excuse left when I come for that title."

Big Show nodded once, almost approvingly. "You're on."

The two men stared at each other for another tense second.

Then Show held out his hand.

The crowd rose to its feet.

Drew looked at the hand, then at Show's face, and after one final moment of hesitation, he reached out and grabbed it.

The handshake was firm. Heavy. Real.

The crowd popped huge for it, because in an atmosphere full of betrayal and chaos, this felt almost old school. A straight up deal between two giants who understood what was at stake.

Drew gave a small nod.

Big Show returned it.

Then Drew let go and stepped back with a grin that said he had already started imagining the match ending in his favor. Show rolled his shoulder and lifted the title once more, looking every bit like a man who knew how dangerous the challenge now was.
