Daniel was the first to stand up, displaying a maturity and stability beyond his years, and respectfully raised his glass towards Arthur Lindsey and Ella Lacey, "Thank you, Uncle and Aunt, for attending my birthday party. I'll use water instead of wine to wish you good health and everlasting love."
With that, he drank it all in one go.
"Daniel, Aunt loves your magnanimity," Ella raised her wine glass, taking a sip of her ice-cold Lafite red wine, its flavor long and sweet.
It was prepared by Daniel specifically for the ladies.
"Mm."
Arthur, though only affirming with this single word, his entire demeanor was one of certainty and praise.
His drinking posture was stylish and measured, a single breath, not too long or short, just right, finishing the last drop like dew.
Daniel responded with a polite and humble smile.
