-------------------------------------------------

The crystal arena echoed with silence.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Diamondhead stood motionless, his emerald body reflecting the moonlight as countless razor-sharp crystal formations surrounded the battlefield.

Across from him, Venomira smiled.

"So..."

She slowly rolled her shoulders.

"You really are immune to my corrosion."

Diamondhead lowered his stance.

"I didn't transform to prove that."

His crimson eyes remained fixed on her.

"I transformed... to end this."

The Omnitrix symbol glowed faintly on his chest.

The instant his words ended...

Diamondhead lunged forward.

BOOM!!

The crystal beneath his feet exploded as his powerful legs launched him across the arena.

He crossed dozens of meters in a heartbeat.

Venomira simply smiled.

"There you are."

With a graceful wave of her hand...

More than twenty magic circles appeared around her.

Each one released a different poisonous attack.

Some fired crimson spears.

Others launched violet beams.

Several released spinning discs coated in corrosive venom.

Dozens of poisonous needles filled the remaining gaps.

The attacks covered every possible angle.

They surged toward Diamondhead like an unstoppable tidal wave.

Outside the arena—

Nozel narrowed his eyes.

"...He can't dodge all of them."

Yami calmly folded his arms.

"Watch."

Diamondhead's body moved with surprising agility for someone made entirely of crystal.

He leaned to one side.

A crimson spear missed him by mere centimeters.

He twisted his torso.

Three poison discs sliced past his shoulder.

He slid beneath a barrage of venomous needles.

His feet barely touched the ground as he continued advancing.

The battlefield became a blur of green crystal and purple poison.

Still...

Some attacks inevitably found their mark.

A concentrated beam of corrosive venom struck his shoulder.

SSSSSSHHH!!

Purple smoke erupted.

Another slammed into his chest.

Then two more exploded against his legs.

The sizzling sound echoed throughout the crystal enclosure.

Venomira's smile widened.

"Got you."

The poisonous smoke slowly drifted away.

Everyone looked toward Diamondhead.

Nothing.

His crystal body remained flawless.

Not a single crack.

Not a single blemish.

The poison slid harmlessly off his emerald armor before dripping onto the floor.

Venomira let out a small whistle.

"You really are difficult."

Diamondhead didn't even glance at the places where he'd been struck.

He continued charging.

The distance rapidly disappeared.

Twenty meters.

Fifteen.

Ten.

Five.

Venomira remained exactly where she was.

Almost...

Too calm.

Diamondhead thrust one crystal arm forward.

Just as his hand was about to seize her—

She disappeared.

Diamondhead's hand closed around empty air.

His eyes narrowed.

Too late.

A whisper drifted behind him.

"...You're fast."

Her voice carried a hint of amusement.

"...But I'm faster."

Diamondhead instinctively turned—

BOOOOM!!

Venomira's heel smashed into the side of his torso.

The kick landed with enough force to create a shockwave throughout the crystal arena.

Diamondhead was launched like a living projectile.

His crystalline body tore through the air before crashing into one of the enormous emerald walls.

CRAAAAASH!!

The entire arena shook violently.

Massive crystal pillars trembled.

Cracks spread across the ground from the impact point.

Before Diamondhead could recover—

Venomira vanished again.

She reappeared directly in front of him.

Her fists were no longer bare.

Dark violet mana wrapped around both hands like living gauntlets.

The poison condensed into dense layers, dramatically increasing the force behind every strike.

She smiled.

"My poison may not work..."

She drew back her fist.

"...But I don't rely on poison alone."

BOOM!

Her first punch slammed directly into Diamondhead's abdomen.

The impact alone blasted away the remaining smoke.

A second strike immediately followed.

BOOM!

Then another.

And another.

Her fists became nothing but violet blurs.

Every punch carried enough raw strength to shatter enormous boulders.

Every impact echoed like thunder.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

The crystal wall behind Diamondhead trembled continuously as each strike drove him deeper into it.

Outside the arena, even the captains could feel the shockwaves through the crystal barrier.

Magna swallowed nervously.

"...She's ridiculously strong."

Fuegoleon nodded grimly.

"She's combining physical strength with compressed mana."

Julius watched carefully.

"The poison coating her fists isn't meant to corrode anymore."

"It's reinforcing every blow."

Inside the arena—

Venomira continued her relentless assault.

Her fists danced like a storm.

A right hook.

A left straight.

An elbow.

A knee.

Every movement flowed seamlessly into the next, displaying centuries of combat experience.

Despite her cheerful personality...

Her close-quarters combat was terrifyingly refined.

Diamondhead raised his forearms, blocking several strikes, but the sheer force behind them still pushed him backward.

BOOM!

Another punch landed squarely against his crossed arms.

The impact sent vibrations racing through his crystalline body.

Venomira laughed between attacks.

"Hehehe..."

"I knew it!"

BOOM!

"Your crystal body is incredible!"

BOOM!

"It doesn't corrode!"

BOOM!

"It doesn't crack easily!"

Another devastating uppercut exploded beneath Diamondhead's guard, launching him a short distance before he landed on both feet, crystal shards scraping loudly against the arena floor.

Venomira didn't pursue immediately.

Instead, she bounced lightly on the balls of her feet, rolling one shoulder as a grin spread across her face.

"I've finally found someone..."

She raised her mana-covered fists into a fighting stance.

"...who can actually survive fighting me."

For the first time since the battle had begun, the clash was no longer one of poison against immunity.

It had become a contest of raw strength, speed, and skill, where every blow carried enough force to shake the crystal arena itself.

Diamondhead skidded backward across the crystal floor.

SCREEECH!!

His crystalline feet carved long grooves through the emerald ground as he finally forced himself to stop.

For the first time since assuming this form...

He could feel it.

Venomira's punches.

They hadn't cracked his Taydenite body.

They hadn't poisoned him.

But every strike carried monstrous physical force that reverberated through his entire frame.

His forearms still hummed from blocking her barrage.

Across the arena, Venomira casually rolled her shoulders.

"You're durable."

She smiled.

"Very durable."

She flexed her fingers, violet mana once again wrapping around her fists.

"But durability has its limits."

Diamondhead remained silent.

His emerald eyes carefully followed every movement she made.

She's faster than me.

Her poison doesn't matter anymore.

She's switched entirely to close combat.

If I let her dictate the pace... she'll keep overwhelming me.

Ben quickly formulated a plan.

Diamondhead slowly raised both arms.

The smooth crystal covering his forearms suddenly shifted.

CRACK!

Sharp emerald spikes emerged from both hands.

They continued growing until each arm resembled an enormous crystalline lance capable of piercing steel.

Venomira grinned.

"Finally."

She lowered her stance.

"I was wondering when you'd get serious."

The next instant...

Both disappeared.

BOOM!!

They collided in the middle of the arena.

Diamondhead thrust both crystal spears toward her heart.

Venomira twisted gracefully.

The first spike narrowly missed her neck.

She leaned further sideways.

The second spear sliced harmlessly past her shoulder.

"Hehehe..."

She laughed while spinning around him.

"Too slow."

She had completely slipped past both attacks.

Or so she thought.

Diamondhead didn't even turn around.

Instead...

A faint smile appeared across his crystalline face.

"Got you."

Suddenly...

CRACK!!

A razor-sharp crystal spike erupted directly from Diamondhead's back.

It wasn't aimed forward.

It shot backward.

Straight toward the unsuspecting Venomira.

Her eyes widened.

"...What?"

There wasn't enough time.

THUD!!

The emerald spike drove cleanly through her abdomen.

Silence.

The world seemed to stop.

Venomira looked down in disbelief.

The crystal spear protruded from her stomach, emerald light glimmering against the violet blood beginning to trickle from the wound.

For the first time since arriving in the human world...

The High-Ranking Devil had been truly injured.

"...I..."

She whispered.

"...didn't..."

Her crimson eyes slowly lifted toward Diamondhead.

"...see that coming."

Diamondhead's calm voice echoed through the crystal arena.

"You kept watching my hands."

"But..."

His body shimmered with emerald light.

"My entire body is a weapon."

Before Venomira could react—

Diamondhead clenched his fist.

"Crystal Shatter!"

The spike embedded inside her suddenly pulsed.

A split second later—

BOOOOM!!

The crystal spear exploded.

Not into dust.

Into hundreds of razor-sharp crystal fragments.

The shards burst outward in every direction inside Venomira's body.

They pierced muscle.

Tore through flesh.

Embedded themselves throughout her torso and limbs before finally forcing their way back out, leaving countless smaller emerald crystals lodged within her.

Venomira's body trembled violently.

Blood mixed with dark violet devil essence splattered onto the crystal floor.

She staggered backward several steps.

"...Kgh..."

She instinctively activated her regeneration.

Dark mana immediately flowed toward the wounds.

The holes in her stomach slowly began closing.

Torn flesh knitted itself together.

The external injuries rapidly healed.

Yet...

She suddenly stopped.

Her expression changed.

"...It still hurts."

She looked at her arm.

Tiny emerald crystal fragments remained buried beneath her skin.

Another shard protruded slightly from her shoulder.

Several more were lodged throughout her abdomen.

Her regeneration had repaired the damaged flesh...

But it couldn't simply erase the foreign crystal embedded deep within her body.

Every movement caused those fragments to grind against newly healed tissue.

The pain wasn't unbearable.

But it was constant.

Restricting.

Every step reminded her they were still there.

Venomira slowly flexed her fingers.

She could feel dozens of crystal splinters shifting beneath her skin.

"...Interesting..."

She whispered.

Diamondhead lowered his arms.

"I don't need to keep wounding you."

He took a single step forward.

"The fragments will do that for me."

Venomira gave a small laugh despite the pain.

"Hehehe..."

She coughed lightly, wiping a streak of violet blood from the corner of her lips.

Then she looked back at Diamondhead.

Her expression wasn't angry.

It wasn't hateful.

If anything...

She looked even more captivated.

"I've spent thousands of years studying toxins..."

She placed a hand over the wound that had already regenerated.

"...Yet you've created something my regeneration can't simply remove."

She looked at the crystal shard protruding from her shoulder and smiled with genuine admiration.

"A wound that heals..."

"...while still remaining wounded."

Her crimson eyes sparkled.

"King Benjamin..."

She chuckled softly.

"You continue to exceed every expectation."

Even with crystal fragments lodged throughout her body, the High-Ranking Devil slowly straightened her posture.

The pain was real.

Her movements were no longer as fluid.

But the fire in her eyes had only grown brighter.

"Now..."

She said with a grin that was equal parts excitement and determination.

"Let's see..."

"...which one of us reaches our limit first."
