Rejection itself didn't bother her.
What bothered her...
Was who had rejected it.
She looked from Charlotte...
To Dorothy...
Then back to Big Chuck.
Finally, she let out a long, disappointed sigh.
"How rude..."
She placed a hand over her chest dramatically.
"I proposed to him..."
Her crimson eyes shifted toward Charlotte.
"...not you."
Charlotte's eyebrow twitched.
"I wasn't asking for your opinion."
Venomira continued with another sigh.
"And yet..."
She looked genuinely puzzled.
"...you answered anyway."
Dorothy floated beside Charlotte, crossing her arms.
"Someone had to."
Venomira blinked.
"...Humans are strange."
She slowly shook her head.
"No wonder the Underworld has a lower divorce rate."
The captains collectively stared at her.
"..."
"..."
Yami quietly muttered,
"Does the Underworld even have marriage?"
Venomira immediately nodded.
"Of course."
"Usually after attempting to poison one another."
Jack blinked.
"...What?"
"If both survive..."
She smiled proudly.
"...they're considered compatible."
The entire battlefield somehow became even quieter.
Even Charlotte looked too stunned to respond.
Venomira sighed once again.
"It seems your customs are very different."
Her expression gradually became serious.
"Very well."
"If words won't convince you..."
Her smile slowly returned.
"...perhaps a better demonstration of my abilities will."
The playful atmosphere vanished.
An immense amount of demonic mana suddenly erupted from her body.
The ground beneath her feet instantly blackened.
Flowers withered.
The surrounding air began hissing as countless poisonous particles spread throughout the sky.
Even the barrier itself trembled slightly.
Charlotte's expression hardened immediately.
"Everyone..."
"...get ready."
Venomira slowly raised both hands.
Unlike before...
This time only a single magic circle appeared.
It dwarfed every previous spell.
Dozens of intricate runes rotated around one another, forming an enormous purple formation nearly fifty meters across.
Dark violet poison continuously dripped from its edges before evaporating into poisonous mist.
The pressure alone forced several Magic Knights to instinctively take a step backward.
Nozel narrowed his eyes.
"...This spell..."
Fuegoleon's flames intensified.
"...It's on another level."
Even Julius became serious.
The mana gathering inside that single spell exceeded everything Venomira had displayed so far.
She smiled sweetly.
"I call this..."
The enormous magic circle condensed.
A gigantic sphere of deep violet poison slowly emerged from its center.
Unlike the previous crimson venom...
This one looked alive.
Its surface constantly shifted, revealing distorted faces silently screaming beneath the liquid.

The words alone sent chills through everyone present.
Venomira casually pointed toward Charlotte and Dorothy.
"You interrupted my proposal."

Her smile widened.
"...I'll remove the interruption."
With a gentle flick of her finger—
The enormous violet sphere shot forward.
The spell didn't move particularly fast.
Yet...
The surrounding space itself seemed to decay wherever it passed.
Even mana dispersed upon touching the poisonous aura surrounding it.
Charlotte's pupils shrank.
"This attack..."
Dorothy instinctively prepared Dream Magic.
Before either captain could react—
Big Chuck moved.
His enormous body planted itself directly in front of them.
Charlotte's eyes widened.
"Ben!"
The gigantic poison sphere reached him.
Instead of dodging...
Big Chuck opened his mouth.
Wider.

Until it became almost impossibly large.
Then—
Several thick tongue-like tentacles exploded outward.
Like giant whips, they wrapped themselves around the incoming sphere.
The poison hissed violently as it struggled against the muscular tongues.
For a brief moment—
It looked like two monsters wrestling.
Then—
SLURP!
The enormous poison sphere disappeared into Big Chuck's mouth.
Everyone watched in stunned silence.
His cheeks puffed outward dramatically.
His belly expanded even larger than before.
A brilliant emerald glow pulsed beneath his skin.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
The poison was being digested.
Venomira stared this time stunned.
"...Again?"
She sounded almost offended.
"You..."
"...you actually ate Soul Rot?"
Big Chuck simply swallowed.
GULP!
The enormous lump visibly traveled down his throat before settling inside his stomach.
A deep green light radiated through his belly.
For several seconds...
Nothing happened.
Then Big Chuck rubbed his stomach contentedly.
"...Burp."
A tiny puff of harmless green vapor escaped his mouth.
Asta burst into laughter again.
"He ate it! Again!!!"
Magna pointed dramatically.
"She's literally feeding him!"
Venomira blinked repeatedly.
"...That's..."
"...not how this spell is supposed to work."
She genuinely sounded confused.
Normally...
Soul Rot dissolved armies.
Today...
It had become dinner.
Before anyone could process what had happened—
Big Chuck suddenly leaned forward.
His tiny legs began moving.
One step.
Then another. Then another.
The enormous alien started charging.
Or at least...
Attempting to.
Because of his massive body, every step caused him to wobble violently from side to side.
His belly bounced.
His cheeks jiggled.
His entire body resembled an oversized duck sprinting across the battlefield.

Magna laughed so hard he almost collapsed.
"Why does he run like that?!"
Even Yami couldn't completely suppress the corner of his mouth from lifting.
"...Looks ridiculous."
Jack nodded.
"...Terrifyingly ridiculous."
Despite the comical appearance...
Every impact cracked the ground.
Each bouncing step accelerated him further.
Big Chuck's speed increased far beyond what his appearance suggested.
Venomira simply floated there.
Watching him approach.
Her smile slowly returned.
"Hehehe..."
She clasped both hands together excitedly.
"Even the way you run is adorable."
Charlotte immediately facepalmed.
"...She's hopeless."
Dorothy sighed looking at the devil before her.
"I think she's fallen in love for real."
Venomira nodded cheerfully without an ounce of embarrassment.

Then she spread her wings.
Her crimson eyes gleamed with anticipation.
"Come then..."
"My fascinating little king."
"I wonder... what else can you swallow?"
Big Chuck continued charging across the battlefield.
Despite his rotund appearance and comical waddle, every step carried terrifying weight. The earth trembled beneath his feet, deep cracks spreading across the ground as though a giant beast was stampeding through Hage Village.

His short legs pumped furiously while his enormous belly bounced with every stride.
The sight was ridiculous.
Yet not a single captain laughed anymore.
Because they had all witnessed what that seemingly harmless alien could do.
Venomira remained suspended in the air, watching him approach with an almost affectionate smile.
"My, my..."
She rested her cheek against one hand.
"Even your running is adorable."
Big Chuck didn't respond.
The moment the distance between them shrank to only a few meters—
He bent his knees.
The ground beneath him shattered.
Then—
BOOOOM!!
His enormous body launched into the air like a living cannonball.
The sudden burst of speed caught even Venomira slightly off guard.
"So fast?"
She barely had time to widen her eyes before Big Chuck opened his gigantic mouth.
Instead of swallowing—
He spat.
PSSSSSHHHHHHH!!
A torrent of emerald-green acid erupted from his mouth.
Unlike ordinary acid, this substance hissed violently the moment it touched the surrounding air.
The very atmosphere seemed to distort around it.
It spread like a massive poisonous rain, covering an enormous area and leaving Venomira with almost no room to maneuver.
The Poison Devil's playful smile disappeared.
She immediately vanished from her position.
The acid swept past her by mere centimeters.
For the first time since the battle began—
She had actually been forced to evade seriously.
The acid continued falling toward the ground below.
The instant it landed—
SSSSSSSSS!!
An ear-piercing sound echoed throughout the village.
The earth began melting.
Not merely burning.
Melting.
Solid stone dissolved into bubbling liquid.
Trees disappeared almost instantly.
Even the poisoned soil left behind by Venomira's earlier attacks was completely eaten away.
Within seconds—
A massive crater had formed beneath the falling acid.
The smell alone made several villagers instinctively cover their noses.
Yami stared silently at the destruction.

Jack whistled.
"It even ate through devil poison."

The sheer destructive capability.

Her excitement practically overflowed.

Dark violet mana gathered around it.
"I was originally planning to dissect you."
The captains immediately tensed.

Her smile softened into something almost disturbingly gentle.
"...I'm definitely taking you home with me."
Charlotte's face immediately darkened.

Dorothy nodded.

The air around it distorted violently.
Venomira gently wrapped the chain around one arm before giving it a testing swing.

The sound alone cracked the nearby ground.
She slowly licked her lips.
Her smile had become almost frightening.
"This time..."
She spoke softly.
"...I'm absolutely certain."
She twirled the chain once more.
"...Very."
Another rotation.
"...Very."
The chain whistled through the air.
"...Certain."
Her crimson eyes locked onto Big Chuck.
"...That you're coming back to the Underworld with me."
She smiled sweetly.
"As my husband..."
She paused.
"...or my favorite experiment."
Another pause.
"...Honestly."
She shrugged innocently.
"I'm perfectly happy with either."
Charlotte's briars erupted violently from the ground.
"I said no!"
Dorothy floated forward beside her.
"And we're still saying no!"
Venomira blinked.
"...Why are you two acting like protective wives?"
Charlotte's face instantly turned scarlet.
"W-WHAT?!"
Even Dorothy looked momentarily speechless.
Meanwhile...
Big Chuck simply scratched the side of his enormous head.
"..."
He had absolutely no idea how the battle had somehow turned into an argument over marriage proposals.
But one thing he did understand—
The devil before him wasn't leaving willingly.
Which meant...
He would simply have to make sure she couldn't keep talking.
