"Isn't this a bit excessive? Pregnant women aren't made of tofu," Jane Sampson reached over and poked James Black's mask, and he thought she was going to take it off. Instinctively, he turned his head to avoid her, but Jane Sampson just pinched his ear playfully twice before she turned around, satisfied, to wash up.
Jane Sampson didn't have a late-night snack last night, so she was hungry quickly in the morning. This was the first time she'd gone to the dining hall so early for breakfast since coming to the base.
The young comrades at the dining hall were surprised to see Jane Sampson arrive so early.
"Sister-in-law, you're here! What do you want to eat today? How about some freshly made soy milk? Or peanut soup? Maybe two meat buns?"
"I want soy milk!" Jane Sampson replied cheerfully, "Two meat buns aren't enough, I also want a boiled egg."
