Aldana Candi pressed her lips together, glanced at Jimmy Blythe, and whispered, "Don't follow me."
Jimmy Blythe: "..."
He couldn't help but defend himself, "I'm just here to buy groceries, I really didn't mean to do anything."
Aldana Candi replied perfunctorily, "Let's just pretend it's like that."
"..." It was the first time Jimmy Blythe felt completely unable to explain himself.
Aldana Candi ignored him, lowered her head, leaned on her crutches, and slowly walked out.
Redhead got serious at this point, rubbing his chin and said, "Jimmy, I think something's off..." It didn't seem like a case of playing hard to get; she genuinely seemed resistant to him.
Jimmy Blythe watched Aldana Candi's back, let out a long breath, and raised his hand to give Redhead a hard knock, "It's all because you're stirring things up from the side!" He was now very unsure of what Aldana Candi thought of him.
