She thought it was Eric Candi coming back and went to open the door. A head of fiery red hair popped in from outside, with a face lit up by a smile, "Hi~ little beauty."
Ellen Candi looked at him calmly, without saying anything.
"Ahem." He coughed lightly, becoming a bit more serious under her emotionless gaze, "Um... are you still angry?"
"Angry?"
"Not angry anymore? That's great." The redhead flashed his signature bright smile again, "Jimmy Blythe and I have been good friends for over twenty years. He's a decent guy, you'll realize that once you get to know him."
Ellen Candi's voice rose slightly, "Jimmy Blythe? Get to know?"
The redhead coughed lightly, "Don't be so loud, I sneaked over to apologize. If Jimmy found out, he'd kill me." He looked around surreptitiously and squeezed in a bit more. Ellen stood at the door, not allowing him in.
With arms crossed, she looked at him coldly, "I don't know what you're talking about, can you leave? I want to go back and rest."
