Jimmy Blythe lightly laughed, raising a finger to press against Aldana Candi's lips, whispering softly, "Don't be quick to reject me. Give yourself some time to test me, alright?"
Aldana widened her eyes slightly, looking at Jimmy's knowledgeable and elegant face. He was assertive without being domineering, gentle without being weak, embodying the composure and assertiveness a mature man ought to have.
"Your child needs a father, and you need a man to take care of you. I don't think you want your family taking care of you for the rest of your life, do you? You can choose me; I have enough wealth to guarantee the safety of you and your child for a lifetime."
It did sound quite tempting.
Aldana gently pushed his hand away, shaking her head at him.
"Let's not rush into marriage discussions when we've barely known each other for a few days. You don't even understand me or my past. It's just too soon..."
