Eric Candi looked at her helplessly, seemingly unable to come up with anything to say in response, and simply led her into the hotpot restaurant.
Steam rose in the private room. The duck blood and beef balls Ellen Candi put in were already cooked, floating on top of the spicy oil pot. The aroma of beef tallow and the heat of chilies hit them, making everyone's mouth water, tempted to swallow a gulp of saliva.
"You guys are finally back!"
Ellen Candi seemed quite excited, as she always loved spicy food. "Come, come, it's just perfectly cooked. The duck blood here is so authentic. I never thought I could have such authentic hotpot in London."
Aldana Candi walked over silently, sat next to Ellen Candi, and watched as Ellen passed her a beef ball attentively.
Just as she was about to lower her head to eat, she heard Ellen Candi asking Eric, "Why did Aldana come back so late?"
