Aldana paused for a moment, instinctively covering her right eye and taking a step back.
Ellen awkwardly withdrew her finger, rubbed her fingertips, and quietly asked, "I've always wanted to ask you... What happened to your eye?"
Aldana realized, smiled indifferently, "Something happened, and it went blind."
Seeing that Aldana didn't want to elaborate, Ellen didn't press further, but she felt a faint heaviness in her heart.
Eric came down from upstairs in casual clothes, a simple white shirt and black pants. Due to his tall and strong build, he exuded a scent of masculinity, looking both robust and wild.
He said, "Let's go."
Ellen nodded, "Let's go."
Eric walked over to support Aldana. Aldana, leaning on a cane, looked up and gave Eric a grateful smile, "It's okay, I can walk on my own."
Eric let go, watching as Aldana steadily stood up from the sofa with her cane.
