Aldana Candi seemed a bit absent-minded, she lowered her head and spoke softly: "We have no relationship, this is trouble I brought upon myself, no need for you to worry."
He gently clasped his fingers.
"Aldana."
Aldana didn't look at him, "I only found out yesterday that Ellen Candi has regained consciousness. You see, now that you're back, you can have a good chat with her. All these years you've been trying to help her regain her memory, now... your wish has been fulfilled. You once said, if she ever lost her memory of you, how would you go on all alone," she slowly raised her head, looking at Philip Shaw's face, "You're finally not alone."
Philip Shaw slowly turned his head away, avoiding her eyes, and said in a low voice: "That's all in the past now."
Aldana lightly laughed, "So those things, to you, are all in the past."
He gradually halted his steps, turned back to look at Aldana, observing her sitting in the wheelchair.
