Early the next morning, Shane Winchester prepared breakfast as usual, but Alice Smith clearly had no intention of eating. After changing her clothes, she watered the flowers and softly said to Hankie Adams, "Uncle Winchester will take you to school in a while. Mom has something to do at the flower shop, so I'll pick you up after school, okay?"
"Okay!" Hankie nodded, looking at Alice with some concern.
Alice glanced indifferently in Shane Winchester's direction, then lowered her eyes slightly, intending to leave.
"Have breakfast before you go," Shane Winchester suggested, not mentioning anything about the wedding dress or the wedding.
"No, you guys eat," Alice replied coldly, her gaze never once landing on Shane Winchester's face, leaving him somewhat disheartened.
"You're not well, skipping breakfast…"
'Bang…'
Before Shane could finish, Alice had already left, the sound of the door closing not loud, but it still chilled his heart.
