Shane Winchester raised his eyebrows slightly, gazing at Riley Sully's face, staying silent as if he was seriously contemplating something.
Being stared at like that, Riley couldn't help but feel a bit nervous, her hands clutching the music box restlessly.
After a long while, Shane finally spoke, "Really want to compensate?"
Riley hesitated for a moment, then nodded.
"Then sleep with me tonight," Shane said again.
Upon hearing this, Riley was frozen in place, staring blankly at Shane, forgetting to react. It wasn't until she snapped out of it that she looked down at her feet and said softly, "Sorry... I..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Shane had already gotten up, ruffling her hair, and turned to open the door to her bedroom.
Seeing him push the door open, Riley's face turned a few shades paler, standing still as if her legs were filled with lead, unwilling to take a step.
