There's only one minute left until midnight, Shane Winchester's gaze falls on Riley Sully, and he says warmly, "Happy Chinese Valentine's Day."
Riley meets his eyes, her cheeks feel a bit hot, and she unnaturally shifts her gaze to the black box in front of her, gently reaching out to touch the lid.
The box's exterior is made of cowhide, with clear visible textures on its surface. Upon touching it, it feels slightly stiff, yet inexplicably reassuring.
"What is it?" Riley asks softly, only feeling her heartbeat racing as if it were about to jump out of her throat.
Shane sits by her side, his gaze also on the box, "You'll find out if you open it."
Upon hearing this, Riley doesn't refuse any longer. She gently opens the box, only to find another wooden box, which makes her turn to look at the man beside her, with a hint of confusion in her gaze.
Shane doesn't speak; he simply looks at her calmly, but there's also a faint trace of anticipation.
