After investigating Maggie Lauper for half a month and still getting nowhere, Bella Scott decided to put the matter aside for now.
"Do you plan to continue investigating Maggie Lauper in the future?" Clara sensed the hidden meaning behind Bella's words.
"Who knows about the future? How's Tariq Lane doing?" Bella asked about the situation.
"Since the scandal with Kallie, Tariq seems to have evaporated from the face of this earth, not knowing where he is. He might have already left West Grove," Clara replied truthfully.
However, Bella shook her head: "Not necessarily. He's quite calculated. His actions in those years led to the subsequent changes, and Jamison Allen was caught in this disaster because of him. He must find a way to save Jamison. Most importantly, he's a person who holds grudges—if someone frames him, it'd be strange if he doesn't seek revenge."
