Chapter 603 - Chapter 603: Censored Content

A white room, with several lights positioned around his body to keep him from escaping, the shadow scattering away and leaving him as merely a formless patient. To his left, he can see the struggles of a woman, who recently lost her arms. "Subject 189: Koina, age 38. Date of Birth, November 12th. Height and weight, 5'9 and 159 lbs. Subject 46: Eustace, Age 56. Date of Birth, classified. Height and weight, 6'9 and 202 lbs." A doctor recounted, as he and few others enter in the room, clipboards and tools ready for experimentation.

He was going to be tortured again.

"Current experiment: Vivisection across the arms and reallocating them towards the patient's in an effort to restore her limbs. Hypothesis, examining if control of a Monster's arms extends to other targets when doing the surgery whilst alive. Currently placed anesthesia into Subject 189's system in order to null the pain in the upcoming procedure. Anesthesia, however, will not be applied to Subject 46's system in the efforts of making the hypothesis correct." The doctors were quick to grab ahold of whatever's necessary to cut into such flesh: Scalpels, saws, hammers to break off any bones, as well as a few cleaning supplies such as small swabs and brushes to remove any excess that remained during the procedure. Eustace tried to escape his bedding, but failed. Straps were visible, camouflaged within the shadowed body to prevent him from noticing it bound him down. His breath was heavy as he saw the refraction from the metal tools, his fear kicking up again as he recalls his many days trapped in the Bunker.

"Beginning Vivisection now..."

Fwip!

"Who turned out the lights??!"

An opening. Immediately, his body disappeared alongside the binds, phasing through them and taking one of the scientists heads. His breath was hasty, unable to control himself. He can still see the small glimmer of the tools, recalling how they treated his body like gas, pretending that he couldn't feel such pain. His body reacted instantly to the torment, slamming one of them into the mass of tools, letting him scream as he was stabbed through his body. Two others nearby were his next, tossing them into a wall, letting the shadows devour them and spit them out elsewhere, hoping they'd suffer the same fate as the first. As the lights tried to come back on, his body was visible in the darkness, rushing ahead to get the last man. Alas, as he tried to reach out, his hands ready to grip and rip into his flesh, it was gone.

All he could see was merely roses and poppies, as if someone gave him a bouquet for his troubles.

WHACK!!!

An immediate hook across Eustace, taking advantage at his lack of armor, his body weaker than the average persons when stripped bare. A cloaked figure approached into the doorway, hunched over and watching through his cowl, his round body blocking out the light. "Well, there goes the idea of using you as our 'hero' for Kabanaska... Was so certain it would work out, but what should one expect from a mere Monster?"

"Yeah~! Tell him!"

"Make him squeal! Make him beg!"

Two voices audible around, as Eustace tried to regain his sight. He could see it, the two women he was forced to watch whenever he was forced to be retaught his place, the women in the Propaganda. The portly man dropped down his hood, letting his face be properly scene. Wrinkles and double chins, the man adorned square-like glasses and a small mouth. His hair was draped down, almost greasy in appearance, with a large hat being taken out and put atop his head to hide it away. Each side of his glasses reflected the two women, a tell-tale sign that he was entranced in his magic. "Barklode... The damned Lackey for the Ghh...!" Eustace struggled to speak as he'd recoil in pain, his mouth feeling as if it was ripped straight from his jaw.

"Yes, yes. I'm a bastard. Really, you shouldn't be talking much, considering the abuse you left behind..." Barklode replied, walking up towards him as he'd cast his magic again, an illusion placed to let Eustace's mouth be instead full of bandages, fear and panic raised as if he was unable to speak, clutching and pulling at his lower jaw, unintentionally hurting himself in the process. He only stopped himself when he realized the pain, and thusly, the style.

Censor Magic. The magical style that hides away any forms of injury or obscene content under a filter, gaslighting the brain in the process.

"Judging by how you're looking at my eyes, my girls have made themselves present to you, yes? Really, I am honored, but you shouldn't be ogling so much. Don't you already have a wife?" His words set Eustace off again, as he'd try to go for another lunge. Barklode, however, was quick on the draw, slightly pulling over Koina's bed and let the Censorship appear as if she regained her arms, causing a meager trip to be a serious blow to his head, the hard steel for bedding knocking him out cold, struggling to keep his mind up after being taken such a thorough hit. "And this is why we don't ogle. We lose sight of ourselves. Really, pay attention next time." Every word uttered by Barklode was intentionally trying to anger or push him to do such reckless actions, as he'd allow the remaining doctor to grab ahold and pull Eustace back on the bed. "Now, be a good test subject and let your arms go. You certainly don't need them anymore after being such a failure..."

"I swear by my life... You will not see the next day. You will-"

"Threatening? At your state? Seems the skull must've cracked more than mere bone. We may need to do an amputation there, too." Barklode kept himself quiet as he'd allow Tsuyugi and Aramasa to speak through his illusion.

"As if he ever had a brain to begin with~! Monsters don't think, anyway."

"You're just better off being a deadbeat for life~! Enjoy burning in hell, beast!!"

The two girls took their respective turn speaking, slowly whittling down Eustace's confidence further and further, wallowing in his son's words. There was no hope for him. He said it himself. Why bother defying such a fate when he knows it is better left to embrace it?

BWAAAAA! BWAAAAAA! BWAAAAA!!

Alarms were being heard across the Facility. Something went wrong immediately. "And we have another interruption to our experiment. What annoying bugs in our laboratory." Barklode muttered as he'd leave, leaving the two to their own devices.
