"THIS WAS YOUR MAGIC!? YOU CAN JUST BRING PEOPLE TO A DIFFERENT WORLD?!" Harvard shouted as the group tried to get adjusted, watching as Alice was quick on descending.
"Somewhat. It's more accurately my Book Magic... It hurts a bit when I do this." She'd explain, yet before the others would have a chance to respond, Deltoro charged ahead, already quick on planting his commandments to Alice to prevent her from utilizing this new land. The Wonder was quick in leaping over, letting her steps grow a flower in its place, redirecting the spell, letting its leaves spread and wrap around the Bull, in an effort to return the seal back to sender. Having such concerns, Deltoro counters with his Hand of God, the nebula quickly burning up the plant life around him, letting it scoop and lift him up to gain a higher vantage point over her. He needs to release these styles and let him get back in stealing more magic, noticing the harsh energy scorching across with the many stars acting as this world's sun. To hold a Dimension so backwards, he can't help but struggle in what to do in such a reverse order. He'd go as far as to write it down in his armor's walls just to keep a notifier on the abrupt change. In a way, the children can see a bit of curiosity in the brutish beast, as if he's never met such a thing before.
"Cats and Dogs -> Squirrels and Birds"
"Moon and Night -> Sun and Morning."
"Trees -> Flowers"
"Every change in this world is its stark opposite. This is good to know." He'd mumble to himself, before noticing Applin trying to take advantage of this bizarre landscape, thwacking one of the squirrels straight into Deltoro's body, letting it act ravenous and attack into the armored figure, slashing and scratching at the stonework. Even though its claws are being bloody, it was showcasing immense strength, destroying the maze that kept one of the spells, the Commandments, in captivity. As a result, Deltoro would aim straight down and cast his Final Gambit. "Maze Magic... Daedalus."
"For now on, no other person within this maze can use this new world as their offense until they leave the Maze."
FWOOOOSH!!!
The Maze grew immediately, slabs stretching upwards, walls upon walls that slowly boxed in the children, a seal implanted in their heads in the form of a parallel line, the symbol of a hat present in one of them. As the children were surrounded in stone, Deltoro crashed into its center, his armor now gone, the mask quickly changing in appearance, adopting one of the many spells it has lost, adapting it as a new style to work with while it's present on its head. With how they were focused on the Commandments, he knew better than to abandon the one thing that was binding them from progressing. Such stone molded into a white marble, the eyes quickly changing to a bright blue, a halo acting as a necklace around his neck. "You're using your Gambit early? Seems pretty desperate if you ask me!" A voice called out, one that Deltoro needs to get used to if he wishes to remember each child to take out.
"With how my magic works, I don't necessarily need to use it as a last resort. More a reset to collect more spells in the case fools such as yourselves try to focus on the one causing the most trouble."
"Still desperate!"
It was clear they were not going to listen, so instead he focuses in on the voice, charging through each corridor and watching as the land began to change, the time of day accelerating the more he ran, and to an extent, the faster his body began to function. He could feel himself beginning to starve in under a few minutes, drenched in sweat and struggling for thirst in another few. Time works differently here, as expected from those that cast such a style in a different world. He may need to break his way out of this colorful prison of a realm if he wishes to get back in stasis and continue his orders of waking the Man in the Mountain. The heavy breath from the child speaking was being audible now, being just as unaware as he was in regards to this world's rules. He'd slow himself to buy as much time as possible, walking towards the voice, peering over to see where he was.
Sure enough, it was Zazel. It made the Bull raise an eyebrow under his mask as he'd look at him being out of shape. Outfit aside, was he really the type to throw such mockeries? He can moreso assume it would be from the Bird or at least the Magician. Nevertheless, he approached him, ready to attack with one hammer arm to the dome. As he'd bring his arm down, he'd start to hear a few sounds:
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!!
In repetition, in succession. It was a trap, as one glance around would make him notice both the bombs and the Stars, detonating as soon as they got close. Furthermore, he'd notice that there was a sigil on Zazel's body, his skin already rotten, his nerves most likely snuffed, his legs limp on the floor. That was until he saw the mummified head when it all connects, where his body was rotting so he can avoid further damage from the incoming blast. He made himself into live bait to draw out Deltoro. "Tch. I should've known about that too." He'd raise his arms up in an effort to block against the incoming blast, pondering what would've happen if it adopted the properties of this world. Could his life had been saved if it was a mere flashbang? He won't be able to know, he was the one who imposed the limitation in the first place anyhow.
KA-BOOOOOOOM!!!
Tunnel vision. That was what caught him in such an act, as his body was ripped through, desperate to claim both spells and adapt it into his armory, the stars themselves acting as his right arm, the mines as his left. Even with such a catch, he's badly burnt, and he's already hearing their approach.
"Fast -> Accelerated Time."
"Slow -> Reduced Time."
"Explosion -> Flashbang?"
"This is also good to know." He'd mumble, as he'd feel another strong light come down from behind him, a spell sneaking behind him, hoping to kill him before he'd adapt any further.
