Chapter 550 - Chapter 550: Wonderful

The Man charged ahead, using the arm that took in the attack to act as his battering ram. The children, aside from Alice, would try to retort in their own manner. Stolas would prepare a Hand of God nebula, letting it grab and squeeze around his waist and stomach, preventing him from moving further, his talons sliding across the ground as he'd be met with such raw power overwhelming the very stars. Solomon would follow up by casting down Commandments onto his body, sealing his energy, watching Harvard toss him a card with such seals to further enhance it, one out of lightning to paralyze the body, the other with a dark smog to singe out any magical properties and effects Deltoro may have. Applin and Zazel would counterattack, the former creating the usual hammers, letting be made halfway so the Demon can implement Sabnock into them, rockets assigned to explode and damage whatever was able to take in the magic. One brutal swing, and not only did the energy get expelled, but explode, scattering and raining down to rejuvenate the children in the case they spent too much for their spells. Harvard, lastly, would set up Illusion, his eyes taking on a golden hue, catching Deltoro through his mask in order to prevent him from noticing all the attacks and binds at once. Such collaborated efforts impressed Alice, her eyes widening at how everyone, even her friend, knew the assignment and attacked alongside.

Such awe, however, was interrupted as the bull made his mighty roar, breaking away from the restraints. While the energy was indeed taken away, the walls and ground began to bend, breaking off and latching onto his body, taking in every spell casted. The Nebulae to act as his chestplate, the hammer and Sigil as his legs, the Illusion as his other arm, the Commandments as his hands and feet. Each spell would be stored and forced to wander through the newly made maze, the small blips of light visible as it carries such a style. With one punch, Deltoro would expel out the respective energies, the Commandments quick to latch onto Harvard. "Thou shalt not Kill..." His words echoed through the casting, his energy restrained as much as his will to fight, gritting his teeth as he was bound. Solomon would try to make quick work in dispelling the Commandments, but Deltoro simply used Illusion from his other arm to trap the boy under its trick. Zazel would be forced to ram his body into the Biblical Sorcerer to break free, damaging his own arm in the process, seeing him already having the energy from the Codex Gigas seep across. The children watched as the spell that was casted had something tethering towards the maze. A chain, white in color, ethereal almost, as it was quick to pull back and seal into the structure once more.

"What kind of magic even is that?? I have to assume it's something with the Maze armor, right??" Harvard questioned, hoping someone would have an answer. To his surprise, Deltoro would be the one to respond, as the two girls were quick on climbing back up after such a wash. Further surprised, the human girls following weren't human, rather of sandstone and lime, the bodies' "flesh" merely scrapped away into a more smoother surface, their faces half missing.

"Maze Magic, yes. I coupled it with Armor Magic to grant me this personal prison. With my first style, it catches any and all spells or effects, breaking the land in order to make the maze which houses it, a personal labyrinth forged to trap whatever I want. By donning it as my armor, no magic can reach me properly, and in addition, that said magic can be thrown back. I'd normally have to release the spell and let it act as a trap, but with momentum, it can act as its new reach..." He'd demonstrate this effect by aiming down Applin's Hammers, striking into the ground and letting the castle revert its flooring back to normal, the force behind the hammer strong enough to break down and plummet the children into its dark chasm. "We are not waiting. Your attempts to stall will only amount to so much. We WILL reach the Mountain Man. We WILL bring Calibren to its knees. That is the will our King requested."

"Yeah, well, I don't wanna follow that will!" Harvard's retortion was met with another spell, Replay, casting it on the man to see how such imprisonment works. He'd fling the card forward and watched as it merely grazed into the stone, but casting it out would begin to get sucked into the labyrinth and forced to wander like the rest. Annoyed, The Card Magician looked around for any other option, seeing what can help act as the wall. As he turned to his friends, he'd notice Alice was already casting something for herself. Deltoro would try to charge ahead, reaching out with the Hand of God to catch and snare the next spell into his prison, but as he did, they'd all disappear.

High up in the sky, they all were now in a land forged by the Wonder's youngest. A lush and beautiful land of flowers and trees, a castle visible at the Horizon. No sun, nor moon, but an array of stars that were flying past, slowly forming themselves into a wide smile. As they were caught by the foliage, the group would be surprised at the varying sizes the forest had, now that they were close up. The flowers became as big as mountains, whilst the trees were mere bushes and stumps. Cats and Dogs were seen hopping from each petal, whilst squirrels and birds were on the ground, hunting for proper meat. The latter felt surreal, until Solomon was able to see that one dog, a Poodle, was enjoying themselves on some nuts and berries, alongside a few prairie dogs it was able to find. "...this is NOT a normal world. Everything is completely wrong here!" He'd state, as he and the others watch Alice standing on top of one of them. A quick glance would make his assumption correct, as Applin seems to know what this place is.

"Yes. That is Wonderland. That is my home." Alice was as calm as the gentle breeze that blew past. No longer does she hold such whimsy in her voice. Almost as if she was at peace.
