The green-haired student asked him with anticipation and nervousness on her face.
The two girls stood at the entrance of his office, both similarly clutching their hands on their skirts.
"You guys go ahead; I need to make some preparations." He put one hand on his hip, his gaze turning around slightly. "Don't worry, I'll find your location."
Since they needed his help, Hitomi and Sayaka naturally had no objections and promptly nodded in agreement.
After they left, Adam didn't make a move. He just remained in place.
His blue eyes focused on the window by the side, and he spoke in a casual tone:
"Kyubey, do it once they are in place."
"Don't worry, I've already made arrangements."
The incubator in the form of a cat/bunny emerged from the shadows.
It jumped onto his desk and wagged its tail as it answered.
"That's good."
Adam didn't look back.

This was truly it.
In the original plot, Sayaka wasted her magical girl wish on Kyusuke. But this guy cares more about his guitar than either Sayaka or Hitomi.
Adam generally doesn't like to interfere in love affairs between people. However, Sayaka and Hitomi are good girls. He can consider them his friends.
For all the liveliness they brought to him all this time, and all the boredom they have cured-

Hitomi and Sayaka arrived in silence at the hospital room where Kyosuke Kamijou was recovering.

Normal doctors might not be able to cure him, but someone with superpowers definitely can!
"I told you it's none of your business!" Upon hearing her words, Kyosuke slammed his fist on the edge of the bed and roared angrily. "Are you pitying me?!"
He is always like this; every time Sayaka comes to him and cares for him, he feels that she is pitying him.
The boy doesn't feel this way when he meets Hitomi- but somehow, he can never control his emotions when he is with the blue-haired girl.
"...!"
Hitomi looked at Kamijou in disbelief.
Why is Kyosuke so polite to her but not with Sayaka? Aren't these two childhood friends?

The person she saw today was completely different from the one she knew.
"...He's been like this ever since he injured his hand."
The blue haired girl looked up at the hospital ceiling. Her mind drifted back to Kyosuke Kamijou- the violin prodigy of the past.
He was so full of vigor back then. And as his childhood sweetheart, Sayaka naturally admired him and thought he was outstanding.
But ever since that car accident, Kyosuke has changed. Now, he becomes irritable and very easily angered.
Sayaka knows it is because his hand has been injured. He can no longer do the thing he loves- playing the piano.
So she has been trying to endure his attitude as much as possible, hoping that he'll eventually get over it and come out of his shadow.

"Kyosuke? Are you talking about this toy?"
The giant doll cracked its head, tilting it upwards in curiosity.
"Sayaka, Hitomi, save me!"
At exactly that moment, the boy hanging upside down screamed, his face filled with terror.
"I don't like toys that are so noisy."
A whip appeared in the rabbit doll's hand, and it casually lashed it out at the screaming boy.
"AHHK-!"
Kamijou instinctively cried out in pain, but then he shut his mouth forcefully, not daring to let out any more sounds.
"Can you please let go of him?!"
Seeing that the rabbit doll was actually able to communicate, Sayaka gathered her courage and tentatively spoke up.
"Shall we play a game?"
The giant doll revealed a bloodthirsty smile, its teeth gleaming as its fake eyes seemed to shine with sadism.
"Only one of you three can live. And you can also choose yourselves. How about it?"
