After the dinner with the king at the palace,he started sending various gifts and also visited sometimes then he later made his intentions known and the sisters accepted when he asked to marry them .
" what will you tell him ? " Lucina stared at the sky admiringly as they sat outside on the corridor.
" who ? " she turned to her sister.
" Lucas " Luciana responded.
" what will I tell him ? she looked up .

" I don't know what to tell him " she played with her fingers .
" you should , he spent all the years waiting for so , you should have something to tell him".
" ok ,ok I will say , Lucas the king asked me to marry him and I will be getting married to him next month. so sorry that it didn't work out the way we expected it to"

" yes ,I have ears so that what I use them for . to hear "
" well from the start you knew it wouldn't work out between you two but you kept giving him false hope , why didn't you just explain to him . just tell him the whole truth and he wouldn't have wasted his time waiting for you "
" it's true , maybe I should've told him when mama told him I wasn't at the age for marriage " .
" then tell him now ,make him understand why you can't be together and let all this whole thing end "
" I will tomorrow,I will send for him".
Lilith remembered when she first met him in the palace, dressed in her favorite dress she used her veil to cover her face .
" where are we going to my lady ? " asked one of guard .
" to the river " she said in a low tone .
" but you are supposed to attend the meeting"
" no , am not attending cause am not interested in politics . The queen should just stop forcing me and the only way not to attend this meeting is by sneaking out of the palace" she gave a childish smile .
" and when she founds out we will be punished including you " another guard said with a frown visible on his face .
" then stay back while I go alone" she was about to walk away .
" ok , my lady we will go with you " she stopped and smiled at them .
Rushing out so she wouldn't be seen , she mistakenly bumped into someone and her veil fell to the ground .
" sorry "the person picked it up and gave it back to her with a charming smile as he watched her fix the veil .
" where do you think you are going to Lilith" Medusa thundered from behind and that made her freeze . her heart was racing .
" your majesty " Lucas bowed to Medusa.
" how are you and where is your father ? " she asked .
" already in the meeting room" he responded .
" ok, see you there '' she walked closer to Lilith who was already shivering.
" mama " she said
" where are you going to ? " she asked quietly warning her .
" to ..... to the.....to the ...me...me meeting hall " she stammered.
" what way is it ? "
" that way " she pointed at the direction of the meeting hall .
" then why are you going this way ? "
" I was only taking a walk round the palace before the meeting starts I would go in " she smiled nervously.
" as your queen not your grandma,I command you to go back to meeting room" she said and Lilith raced into the meeting room without looking back .
Lucas watched her , she was sitting close to her twin sister but wasn't saying anything to her , she looked so sad like a kid who was about to cry .
Lilith would turn to stare at her sister who was busy talking to other men and explaining plans to them. this was so boring and she felt like hitting her head on the long table .
Then Medusa walked in , everyone in the meeting room stood until she sat then they all sat . her eyes kept moving as people submitted papers with things written on it that she didn't know what it was because she had escaped attending the last meeting.
" this is useful" Medusa said holding on to the paper given to her by Lucas. " I think we would go with your own idea ". That was how Lucas visited the palace frequently to share his new ideas on matters and soon they became close .
