Yu Suxin stepped to the door and pulled it open.
To her surprise, there was no squad of armed men waiting for her.
Standing behind the family servant was a single figure. He wasn't particularly tall, and his head was slightly bowed, obscuring his features.
Yet, the moment she laid eyes on him, her heart skipped a violent beat.
"Mr. Wang, Miss Yu, I'll leave you two to talk," the servant said with a knowing smile before turning and making her exit.
Once they were alone, Wang Yue finally looked up. He flashed a grin at Yu Suxin. "Hello, beautiful. We meet again."
"It really is you!" Yu Suxin gasped, her voice trembling as she tried to maintain her composure. "What are you doing here?"
"Don't tell me you don't know," Wang Yue said, strolling into the room as if he owned the place.
