The day of Garan's Seclusion finally arrived, and it was somewhat of an event in the family. Like, every one of their close friends and relatives (who were in Alterra) was there, acting like Garan was heading somewhere far away.
Considering what happened when it was her turn, they did not dare make Garan eat the fruit while in the middle of the town. Instead, they used one of the prefab modules (like the one they used in the movable clinics and movable warehouses), placed it on the relatively isolated and undeveloped area of the territory.
They designed the interior comfortably as if it were a hotel room, though whether Garan would appreciate it during the process was unknown. With the proper amount of manpower and expertise, this was easily done in a day.
The family and friends went to 'see him off' as he entered the house. He gave a few more pecks to his beautiful wife and children and he locked the door, with two guards assigned to occasionally check his status.
