Haoming and Xinshan looked at the group as they all made it into the forest for the night hunt, making sure everyone was still following. The twins were bouncing on the balls of their feet, talking about how cool this night hunt was going to be. It was their first night hunt, alongside Nie Chang. So they were even more excited for this chance.
"Alright, I see 8 people," Xinshan said, turning to look at Haoming. "So what's the mission?"
"There's a small town right outside Taomu City that has been attacked each night by an invisible phantom," Haoming said, unable to hide his excitement as he talked. Sichao reached over and nudged his side.
"Calm down. With how you're talking, it's like you're excited that they're getting attacked," Sichao said.
"I am," Haoming said. Once he saw the deadpan look on his friends' faces, Haoming sighed in annoyance and explained further. "Because that means that we get to fight the creature that is attacking them!"
