Roland gathered the team and recapped the deal they'd made, explaining that they were now being escorted by the inhabitants of Shelter 310. Yui, unconscious from the medicine's effects, was left out of most of the conversation.
Roland carefully left out one small detail—the little skit Nuk had put on. As he finished, some of the team nodded in understanding, accepting the situation. But Kate's expression remained wary, clearly uneasy about the arrangement.
"Are you sure? Even if they helped us, they're still part of the largest scavenger syndicate," Kate voiced her concern, her eyes sharp.
