Just then, a heavily injured man walked over to them.
"I'm not too late, am I?"
"Keith Coleman?" Rose Shaw stared at the man in front of her, stunned. If not for his voice, she wouldn't have even recognized him.
Melody Monroe was even more shocked. 'How did Keith end up like this?' She hurried forward. "What happened to you?"
"It's nothing. Just sparred a bit with a friend."
"Sparred? Are you sure you weren't just on the receiving end of a beatdown?" Rose Shaw asked.
"Of course not!"
"You came all the way from Jansburg this badly injured?" Melody Monroe stepped forward, supporting Keith Coleman, and asked in a low voice, "You're not here to crash the party, are you?"
"Look at the state I'm in. Do I even have the strength for that?"
Melody Monroe smiled. "Rose, I'll help Keith find a seat inside."
"Okay. You take care of him. Try not to aggravate his injuries."
"Alright."
Melody Monroe helped Keith Coleman to an empty table and they sat down.
"Was it Mr. Fairchild?"
