Staring at the enormous gift, Melody Monroe was truly at a loss when it came to Evan Fairchild's way of thinking.
'What was he thinking? Did he get such a huge rose bear just for her to look at once?'
'How was she supposed to take it with her? And if it was just for a glance, what a waste that would be!'
"Look, there seems to be a gift box in the rose bear's hands," someone pointed out.
"You're right!" The others saw it too.
Melody Monroe had been so preoccupied with the shame of not being able to take all the roses that she hadn't noticed what the bear was holding.
Only after someone pointed it out did she finally see it.
"Miss Monroe, this is the actual gift for you." The man who had just gotten Melody Monroe's signature stepped forward, gesturing for her to take the gift box.
Melody Monroe glanced at the people beside her, and they all smiled at her when their eyes met.
'What kind of gift is this? Why did so many people come to deliver it? It's all so formal.'
