Jasper Rockwell hugged the bouquet of fresh flowers and took a sniff. "Such beautiful flowers! Melody, you wrapped up your scenes today, and I totally forgot to order you a bouquet to celebrate!"
"You don't have to be so formal." Melody Monroe looked toward Zane Langdon. "Mr. Langdon, thank you for ordering such a huge bouquet for me."
"You're welcome," Zane Langdon said, his gaze shifting to Jasper Rockwell.
Jasper Rockwell clutched the bouquet, refusing to let go.
'How could Zane Langdon just ask for the flowers back? That would be too awkward.'
He felt it was time to get with the program.
'After all, I took Evan Fairchild's money. Even if Evan himself isn't in a hurry, I have to be worthy of this one million.'
