"We seem to be in the South East region of the Spirit Realm if we use Zion Fortress as the starting point and this city is part of Cyrene Empire territory in the Spirit Realm." Nakita said.
When the Human World discovered the Spirit Realm and the benefit they could get from it, Empires, countries, kingdoms, organization and many other entities put in all their effort to be able to enter the Spirit Realm and establish themselves. The Spirit Realm is a higher dimension to that of the Human World and as far as many people has explore, they Spirit Realm expanse has no end at the moment or more accurately, no one has seen it end. Many resources abound in the Spirit Realm and as long as one is willing to put in the effort, there will always be something in return. In the Spirit Realm, the effort is equivalent to the returns – little effort yield little returns and vice versa. During the exploration period of the Spirit Realm, empires, kingdoms, some countries and strong organization were able to raise rapidly due to investing and focusing more on exploring the Spirit Realm which allow them to gain more resources within a short period of time and lay their foundation before they began to expand their influence and solidify their strength. Apart from the races that were in the Spirit Realm before the appearance of humans, who have been established for as long as time could tell, humans are power to be recon with when they are united. Human and other race in the Spirit Realm maintained a good relation with each other apart from those that were not part of their faction. But this was not how it was in the beginning, human has an innate ability of wanting more and everything with the knack of growing exceedingly ambitious. After some ambitions was knock out of them by the race in the Spirit Realm and discovering that when they die in the Spirit Realm, they completely their spirit and soul which is more detrimental than any damage to the physical body in the Human world, human stop coveting the wealth and resources of these races and return their focus to the unexplored zone in the Spirit Realm for expansion.
The place Alfonso and the rest found themselves is one of the cities under the Cyrene territory. At the City gate the name of the City was written boldly for all so see – Terac City.
Terac City is one of the cities in Cyrene territory that serve as hub for Adventurers and Merchants due to it closeness to the forest that serves as hurting ground of wild beasts and monsters for the adventures and other resources that can be found. With many inns, hotels and commercial hub, it quite the good place for Adventurers to trade their resources and replenish their supplies. Other empires, kingdoms, countries and organization also have this kind of cities in their territory, it's a way of generating income for them. Terac City is a good place for them to stay because they will be able to stay out of radar of the people they don't to be discovered by and as an Adventurer hub city, it will be easy for them to carry out many of their plans.
"Let enter the city first and find a place to stay, we will discuss what we need to do next from there." Alfonso said.
"You seem to have forgotten something Alfonso." Nakita said "Our connection with the Spirit Realm has been rest and we will have to pay and register since we don't any identification like that of an Adventurer that will allow us easy entrance into the city."
"This is going to be troublesome." Alfonso said as he now realize the problem they are facing. Usually each Adventurer has a card that register them and other details about them, it also serve as their currency card so when entry any place or city, they just have to provide the card and everything will be settle, it is very convenient especially for wandering Adventurers that does not have a specific base. Due to their connection with Spirit Realm being reset, they will have to create a new card for themselves and that will be a bit troublesome as they now have some things they won't be able to disclose for now.
While they were at it, someone walk towards them.
Alfonso look at the man walking towards them, sizing him up and understanding his intentions, but the man hide his aura properly which does not allow Alfonso to be able to determine his strength and the kind of person he is.
"Nakita, we need to be careful." Alfonso said. Nakita nod his head lightly, he has also discover the man walking towards then and getting ready for whatever might happen though if things went the wrong direction, they might not be able to enter the city which will make them have to adjust their plans.
The man approaching them also scrutinized them, he has notice they have been waiting there for some time and they somehow feel out of place but his instinct kept nudging him to approach them. He instinct has always been right and most time when he chooses to ignore it, he later regrets it so he chooses to follow it this time and see how everything will unfold. Another thing that caught his attention is the outfit on the four of them and the Spirit beast that's behind them. It might look plain to other people, but to veteran, the outfit is anything but ordinary and the Spirit beast is not the type that is found in the Spirit Realm pet stores, they are many Spirit beast in the Spirit Realm as they are sometimes use as mount by adventurers, they can also serve as battle companion so many Adventurers loves to have Spirit beast, but it is not so easy to get a Spirit beast to contract with an individual and the ones that choose to contract with human are usually with low potentials which most times discourage many from forming a contract with them. But the Spirit beast he sees are outside ordinary, since his time in the Spirit Realm he has not seen this kind of Spirit beast before and he is certain that their potential will be off the roof. Now having four of this kind of Spirit beast, the people who have these Spirit beasts will definitely not be ordinary.
"Hello" the man called out as he got closer to them.
"Sorry, if I startle you, my name is Tamika, I was standing at the other side and notice you all have been standing here for some time. Is there anything I can help you with?" Tamika asked as soon as he got close enough to them.
Alfonso observe Tamika more clearly now that he is very close, he notice he has a honey brown eyes with a little scar by his cheek wish is not very discernable if one did not take a closer look. His hair is blonde and styled in a neat way that increase his charm and make him also look respectable. He wore a brown trousers and plain black shirt with it sleeve rolled up in two fold. Looking at him, one might take him for a casual man in the Spirit Realm but for someone like Alfonso and Nakita, they know that this kind of people are the real deal, they look harmless but their real self is that of a ferocious tiger and not far from him, there are two warriors that kept on looking at their direction every now and then though they try not to make it obvious but they were not able to escape the eyes of Alfonso and Nakita.
"I'm Alfonso and my fellow here is.." Alfonso said as he look at Nakita, Alfonso is a common name as long as he did not add his family name and with the help of the hood that come with his outfit, his face won't be easily recognized even when they are this close.
"I'm Nakita" Nakita also replied him, not bothered with changing his name, apart from few people, no one knows him and his whereabouts.
"We are in a situation that is so embarrassing and it's not convenient for us to explain right now and because of that, it will be very difficult to enter the city." Nakita said. "We have been sent out as the guardian of the young master and young miss of how family for them to gain more combat experience and become more independent."
"Okay" Tamika said, "I understand if you don't want to talk about your encounter and I'm willing to be of help." "Though you are lucky today, one of the Kandake grand-daughter just advance to Tier 3 realm at the age of 16 which made the Kandake happy and she declare that there won't be collection of entry fee at all the territory of the Cyrene for those entering for the next 7 days."
"What!" Nakita exclaimed
"You mean you don't know, have you been walking through pocket space all this time to not have heard about this news that took our world and some part of the Spirit Realm by storm?" Tamika asked when he hear Nakita exclaimed. Nakita closed his mouth feeling embarrass at his outburst.
"Tier 3 at the age of 16?" Alfonso said with disbelieve in his voice.
Nicos and Tabitha standing behind them look at each other to see that their expression mirrors the other but remain quiet.
Tamika stayed silent enjoying the look on their faces. He also has the same look when he heard about the news and it's quite refreshing seeing others have the same expression as he did though his is not able to see their face clearly.
Alfonso cleared his throat and readjust himself before saying, "thank you for the information you just share with us, we've been quite troubled on what to do before you came. You've really help us solve a major issue right now."
"It nothing, it's what I should do to a fellow human." Tamika said "Let's walk together, I also have something to do in the City." Tamika said as he walk with them to the gate. When the guard see him, they salute him and didn't bother questioning him of his purpose of entry which shows that he is somewhat well known in the city, this allow Alfonso and the rest to enter freely with the Spirit beast without problem. They were just told to register themselves at the gate post since this is there first time. They were given a transparent card with green light on it edges which contain their fingerprint as a form of identification.
"Technology in the Spirit Realm is more advance than our world, no wonder the powerhouses are fighting tooth and nails to gain more power in the Spirit Realm." Nicos thought to himself as they walk past the city gate.
