After the creation of Eve, the Dragon and the Phoenix, and the respective orders given out towards the upper echelon of Heaven and Hell, Tao Jue could rest a while.
After all, now would be the slow and boring phase of the planets beginnings.
Eve would likely use her power to procreate, the second generation elves would then pro create amongst themselves and populate the currently-barren Forestry of the northern continent, similarly to both the dragon and phoenix.
With God overlooking the universe, he could rest and time-skip these boring but necessary eras.
Secluding himself in a corner of Hell, and advising no one to bother him unless it's an emergency, Tao Jue gently closed his eyes.
——
Two thousand years deep within Tao Jue's slumber, within the forests of the Elves.
Kneeling before the proud and aloof Queen of the elves, whom also happened to be a descendent of the Primordial Elf, Eve, were a group of ten male and female elves with downcast expressions.
These ten eleven warriors were dubbed as the 'Queensguard', given the task of protecting the Queen, they had been handpicked as the most powerful warriors of the entire race.
The leader of the ten, a male with handsome features typical of an Elf; Green eyes, blonde hair and almost perfect features with a slim body, spoke in a grave tone.
"Your Grace, those disgusting eight-legged creatures have breached our forests. Many of our kin have died in battle, approximately three hundred Elves."
Hearing this, the Elf Queen furrowed her brows in frustration. These eight legged creatures were in fact arachnids or huge three meter tall poisonous spiders that the elven kingdom had been at constant war with for over five hundred years.
The reason these arachnids could put up a fight against a mighty race like the Elves, and even in their own territory, was because they bred incredibly fast and did not care for their lives.
The brood mothers controlled the hive mind of all worker and soldier arachnids, and could lay hundreds of eggs every single day.
For the Elves, this was a nightmare.
This was because the Elves were a long lived species with an incredibly low rate of procreation, hence they had low numbers.
After two thousand years of development, they had barely ten thousand Elves, and only half were qualified warriors and magicians.
Naturally, a species appearing within the northern continent with the complete counter to the elven race was not coincidental, unknown to the Elves.
It was in fact one of Azazel's creations and aimed to lock the Elves in continuous battle to wear them down, solely because the Elves worshipped the Archangels, specifically Archangel Michael.
He had once graced them with methods of agriculture to feed their people, and had even met Eve when she was but the sole Elf in the world. He explained to her that the universe was in its creation stage, and that she had the opportunity to become a God with enough Faith, if she cooperated with Michael first.
Hence, the Primordial Elf began creating her race and ruling it for over a thousand years, until passing the throne to one of her qualified descendants. After that, six hundred years later, the throne was once again passed to the current Elf Queen, who was in quite the predicament.
She decided to order all civilians to prepare for military training; if war was closing in on her people and she had not enough warriors, it would be pointless for the farmers and builders to hide away within the deep forest.
All 9,700 Elves would be equipped with their bows, arrows and flint daggers to fight for the future of her race. She would herself, target the Broodmothers. She was one of the finest Magic users amongst the Elves, after all.
——
On the other side of the world, in the Barren Southern continent, a subtle black shadow enveloped an unassuming natural cave entrance in a lonely mountain.
Seemingly teleporting, a dark skinned large man wearing a black robe stepped out and looked around him in curiosity.
Eventually forming a grin, he spoke to himself.
"A newly created world.. and so much power…"
He brought his palms to eye level, wondering how a newly created world could be so incredible. "The Dark council will love this."
He began to create a makeshift home for himself within the cave, going back and forth for supplies appearing out of nowhere, as if the cave connected to another universe.
