Chapter 13 - War of the East

Venerable Zhao Fan was the Elder in charge of this invasion. He had been a creator for hundreds of millions of years in the Dark alliance and had created a hybrid race of dragons akin to the Hydra mythical beast from Earth legends. The more powerful the Hydra, the more heads it had.

He planned to release this race into the breached world to massacre native races and attract the attention of this unknown Creators' supreme Gods, then, he would release his own to grind down the creation power of his enemy.

Watching ten thousand Hydra marching into the special crack and into the green and blue mortal world, Venerable Zhao Fan grinned.

The two Dark alliance elders next to him, Venerable Li Yu and Venerable Sun Xiao noticed his smile, confused, they questioned him.

"Brother Zhao, you look so confident? Even if this is a newly risen Creator, he is not to be underestimated. This world will surely take a few thousand years to conquer" Li Yu mentioned

"Hah, you're mistaken Brother Li. This is my newly created race forged through trial and error for a few hundred million years, made for slaughter. There is no chance a new creator can stand against them, those with nine heads can even rival demi-Gods!" He laughed manically

Venerable Li Yu was surprised. Using ones greatest army to probe was tantamount to throwing away an advantage, a mistake usually done by unexperienced Creators that underestimate their enemy. He had no intention of changing his mind though, the Dark alliance may not attack each other, but they didn't mind reaping benefits whilst sitting on the side-lines.

Even Venerable Sun Xiao, who usually didn't speak, was looking in Zhao Fan's direction with an inquisitive gaze. It seems he also thought this was a trivial mistake.

Zhao Fan didn't mind these looks. He was confident in his greatest race.

Watching his masterpieces that had finally all marched through, he couldn't help but chuckle. He utilised his power to look at the world through the eyes of the Hydra Emperor and relaxed.

'This war will be interesting!'

Tao Jue was relatively unconcerned with the initial stage of the invasion.

Sitting in a Daoist-like Palace overlooking his three worlds, he had noticed a race of Hydra dragons marching for war on the snowy Eastern mountains. Tao Jue chuckled.

Wasn't this the worst place they could have invaded from?

Actually, this was pre-planned. If a race invaded, the weaker members of any race not able to adapt to harsh conditions would surely suffer.

He had known this would come sooner or later, and had purposefully created a gap in the universe he created for intruders to allow in. Since they would come, he would at the least control where from.

The Snow Lion Tribe, East Continent.

Ten elderly snow lion hybrids, half human and half Snow lion, sat in a primitive hall located within the middle of a large village, this group was named the council of elders, the decision makers of the tribe. The Grand elder, a hybrid in his 80's, had a long pointed white beard reaching to his abdomen. Around him, space seemed to distort as he kneeled to a divine statue with his hands clasped similar to how ancient martial artists did in China.

Raising his head and turning around to face the elders, the grave look on his face was apparent.

"The prophecy has come. The divine ancestor once portrayed to us a message from God. Invaders have come, it is time for war."

The Elders gasped with their eyes shooting wide open. When they were children, they had heard of this prophecy passed down for thousands of years. Since it was spoken as a fairy tale, a legend, they did not truly believe in it. They thought it was a method to stop young warriors from slacking off, giving them a threat unlike and more powerful than the other tribes in eastern continent.

The legend stated that one day, foreign invaders would raze the eastern continent in the flames of war, unless the many beast tribes united, they would be eliminated. This legend was the reason the tribes of the east had never had a truly full scale war, only small skirmishes. Whenever a new Tribe leader took over command of the tribe, they would become aware of the looming threat, and avoid unnecessary conflict.

"To think it was true!" Elder Pao shouted

"I thought something was off when I heard those strange noises from the South"

"You heard that too? It sounded like roars of a Dragon"

"Nonsense! The dragon's are a primordial race, almost extinct"

"We must prepare for war! If this invasion is true, with our strength, we can surely fend them off!"

"Idiot! The Prophecy was clear! we must unite the tribes!"

As the elders bickered, and the Tribe Leader worried, the other tribe leaders in the east also sensed the invasion. They ordered a full recall of their troops.

War was coming.
