Erend continued observing the dormant mass of black energy within his subconscious. Outside, his physical body's expression gradually became grim. His brows furrowed slightly as though he was confronting something deeply unsettling.
Velrion glanced at him and immediately understood what was happening. Erend had likely found the part of himself that housed the uncontrollable rage.
The Archmage quietly swallowed.
Even now, he still found it difficult to comprehend what the Black Rage truly represented. Dragonborn were already unimaginably powerful beings even without such a phenomenon. Their normal strength alone had surpassed the limits of what Velrion could properly understand as an Archmage.
If that terrifying power could become uncontrollable and continue growing stronger, then the result would undoubtedly be catastrophic.
