Ryan's mood was sour, after saving their lives they still suspected them of having bad intentions.
"Don't mind them, saving them was just done on a passing. Our aim from the start are the magical beasts. Their actions are not our responsibility."
Hearing his friend's grumble, Varius tried to comfort Ryan. Suddenly a load shout was heard behind them.
"Hey!! Varius wait for us."
Jack and Aira shouted as they run towards Varius and Ryan.
Catching up to Varius' party of two, Jack and Aira let out a sigh of relief.
"Varius, Ryan, sorry for my classmate's word"
Aira tried to explain, she also asked for forgiveness in behalf of her teammate's harsh words.
"Don't worry, that's just a trivial matter."
Varius spoke with a carefree expression, looking as if he was not provoked by the mage's words.
"Really! Thanks, by the way my name is Aira and my class is a Swordsman."
"My name is Jake, mine is a Guardian"
The two introduced themselves, seeing that Varius and his partner doesn't mind their company.

They talked for a while, then Varius signaled them that it is time to leave.
After walking for an hour, they encountered another group of goblins with their numbers reaching 20 and level ranging from 1 to 5.
Looking at the enemy's number and level, Ryan and the two others paled.
"Varius, I think we shouldn't provoke this bunch."
Ryan spoke with a terrified face, trying to persuade Varius to change to a different target.
"Right Varius, I think fighting this goblins is not a good idea"
Aira supported Ryan, she too is afraid of fighting such big numbers of enemy with just the four of them.
"Let me ask you, what are you fighting for?"
Looking at their terrified expressions, Varius couldn't help but asked them.
"To protect? To be the best?"
"Well, what ever is it your fighting for."
"You need a strong power!"
"And this, this is the only way to get stronger."
Hearing Varius' words, the three students expressions changed from being scared to one full of fighting spirit. Of course, as a hot blooded youth, few words could immediately rilled up their feelings.

Each class had at least two initial skills after awakening, each skills varies even with the same class.
To gain new skills, you would need to buy a corresponding skill book.
But before gaining the skill the person need to learn at practice it first, only after reaching a certain amount of profecientcy can one obtain the skill.
So Varius just gave them a brief explaination on what they need to do due to the lack of knowledge of his team's skill.
One had to now that asking an individual about their skill is forbidden, each skill is a persons life saving card.
After finishing his instructions, Varius signaled his members to start.
Seeing Varius' signal, Jake rush to the goblins ferociously using his skills.
Seeing Jake rush in and take the aggro, Aira followed behind.
Clashing with the goblins, Aira and Jake used their skills to kill the goblins one by one.
Looking at the two, Ryan also started to fire his gun not wanting to be out done by both of them.
Looking at Ryan's competitiveness, Varius couldn't help but shake his head. He new that his friend just don't want to be looked down upon.
Varius holding his spear, rush also charge to the goblins valiantly starting a massacre.

After finishing off the goblins, Jake and Aira was spent. Ryan looked a lot better than the two since he uses a gun
While the three of them are resting beside a tree, Varius is looting the goblins' weapons.
He dispose the weapons he looted earlier after finding a better one, he also threw away his spear since it broke earlier at the middle of the battle.
After obtaining a new equipment, Varius sorted the information he gained from the goblins.
He saw that the Hobgoblin leader obtain news of their arrival, and ordered the goblins to hunt them down.
Varius was shocked by the information, they entered the Spatial Rift not to long ago and the goblins are already making a move.
He was shocked at the goblins information gathering skills. One had to now that even if the goblins are famous for their notorious title as newbie killer, they are not the kind to have high intelligence.
Varius suddenly remembered the Goblin Assassin that ambushed him earlier, he thought that the assassins must have gathered this information.
Then a sound of people running came to their ears, Varius looked at his teammates.
"Find a suitable tree and climb up."
Seeing the terrified expression of the three, Varius quickly ordered them while also climbing a tree near him.
As the sound of footsteps grew near, they saw a bunch of students running towards them while being chased by a group of Goblin Hunter.
Using the crystal that the teacher gave them before entering the Spatial Rift, they saw that the levels of the Goblin Hunters. There were atleast 60 level 3, 30 level 4, 9 level 5, 3 level six and one level 7 Goblin Fighter.
They were shocked, even if they had ten lives, this goblin army can annihilate them, hell it can even wipe out the whole batch if they encountered this when they first came in.
They were terrified, even Varius who reach level 5 was scared. Thou he has a great combat ability, facing this enemy was suicidal.
Varius and the others stayed still on the tree, even when seeing the other students being chased. There's a time to be a hero and all, but this isn't one of them.
Looking at the passing army, Varius and others let out a sigh of relief. They quickly got down and regroup.
"Good thing they didn't run in our direction."
Jake spoke feeling relief about their luck.
"Yeah, but do you think we shoul just let them be?"
Aira was relieved, but she couldn't help being worried about the other students.
"Girl, there's a time to be a hero and this isn't one of them."
Hearing Aira's words, Ryan couldn't help but reprimand her.
"That's enough, we should leave, this is not a safe place."
Hearing Varius' words, Ryan and Aira stop their bantering and got ready to leave.

Varius blocked the blade that was thrown at him using his sword, but the tremendous force cause him to fly back and roll over.
Then a big figure slowly appeared, slowly walking towards them from the depth of the forest.
