To ease the concerns of the two elders, Charlotte Allison did not refuse.
The family doctor arrived soon, and after checking Charlotte Allison's wound, said, "The wound is healing very well, Miss Allison. Continue using the ointment you're currently using, and there won't be any scars."
"Thank you, doctor," Charlotte replied politely.
"You're welcome, Miss Allison. I'm curious, though, which ointment are you using? Its efficacy is better than any I've known," the family doctor inquired.
"It's made by my personal physician. It uses some pure natural Chinese medicine, and isn't available on the market," Lucas Quinn explained.
The doctor wisely did not press further. After finishing the examination, which reassured the two elders of the Sheldon Family, he left.
"Charlotte's complexion doesn't look good. Molly, ask the kitchen to prepare some soup to nourish and replenish her blood," Mrs. Sheldon remarked, feeling increasingly sorry for Charlotte.
