In my dragon form I truly felt invincible. Even as my mother and the rest of the group began to annoy me by repeatedly saying I should go back to normal, I wanted this powerful new shape to become my permanent state.
I felt enormous, towering high above everyone else around me. The ground seemed so far away, and the air itself felt lighter under my massive wings. Strength surged through every scale and muscle. What was there not to love about this feeling?
"D-Dear? How about you turn back to your original form for now?" my mother asked carefully, her voice carrying a mix of worry and gentle persuasion.
"Eh? But why! I like this…!" I smiled widely, showing rows of sharp teeth. "I am finally bigger than everyone! Bwahahahahaha!"
