Rayna's expression darkened when she realized their attempt at persuasion had failed. Nevertheless, she wasn't ready to give up.
"Think about what we could accomplish together," she said, her voice dripping with disdain. "With our combined strength, we could venture deeper into the Fey Realm and claim even greater treasures."
Lucia let out a mocking laugh.
"You're wasting your breath. If you were confident in your strength, you wouldn't be standing there trying to convince us to surrender. You're afraid of fighting us, aren't you?"
Rayna's face twitched.
Golden Phoenix stood firm despite their battered condition. Their HP was running low, their supplies were nearly exhausted, and Lucia could barely cast another spell. Yet none of them showed any intention of surrendering.
They had entered the Fey Realm together, and they intended to continue their expedition on their own terms.
