The others kept Silvia and Ruru occupied while Roni charged straight toward Pamela. His colossal fists clenched, muscles bulging as he advanced with overwhelming force. Each step shook the ground beneath his feet, and his massive frame cast a shadow over everything in his path.
Pamela's eyes widened. She knew she couldn't afford to take a direct hit from someone like him.
Before Roni could reach her, however, Lucia intercepted him.
She stepped between the towering warrior and her guildmate, her expression resolute. She had no intention of letting Pamela take the blow.
Roni swung his enormous fist at her.
BOOM!
A crimson barrier materialized around Lucia just in time to absorb the impact. The collision sent a shock wave across the battlefield, and cracks spread through the shimmering wall of fire. The barrier held, but barely. Roni's strength was simply too much for her depleted MP to withstand for long.
