Sebastian Lockwood was different tonight. His kisses were usually gentle, but now…
He was passionate.
Sydney Sawyer felt her mind grow hazy, her body turning limp.
Even though she was no inexperienced novice, he took complete control within moments. Her heart quivered, and her legs grew so weak she could barely stand.
Sebastian Lockwood must have felt her body weaken, for he slid a hand around her waist, hooking it and lifting her slightly. Just like that, Sydney Sawyer was held securely in his arms.
They were pressed flush against each other…
Intimate and incendiary.
Sydney Sawyer's mind was a muddle, yet she could clearly feel the rise and fall of his chest.
His own heart was pounding, vigorous and powerful. Each beat hammered against his chest, yet it felt as if it was striking Sydney's own heart.
Their hearts seemed to collide, throwing both their rhythms into disarray.
