Sylvie Lockwood didn't enjoy dinner at all.
This wasn't a meal; it was just an endless stream of public displays of affection. She had moved in for the convenient commute, but now her apartment seemed to have become a love nest for those two.
At first, Sydney Sawyer was still quite shy and reserved.
But her brother was just shameless, always clinging to the girl. Sydney Sawyer was likely at a loss for how to handle him.
"Your sister is still here," Sydney Sawyer coughed softly.
"It's fine. She's not important."
Sylvie Lockwood: "..."
'So now that he knows I've handled Ryder Sharp, he's just going to use me and toss me aside?'
'That's my brother for you.'
Sylvie Lockwood took the hint. After dinner, she retreated to the study to organize her things for work the next day. But the thought of her brother bringing Sydney Sawyer to meet their parents gave her a slight headache.
'Ryder Sharp will definitely explode then.'
