By the time Jasper White entered the karaoke room, Casey Huxley had already finished her song. Yancy Hale had just taken the stage, getting the whole room hyped up with a rendition of "The Most Dazzling Folk Style."
"Mr. Mo," Donovan Sheridan greeted him, then introduced Chester Sawyer to him.
When Chester Sawyer saw Jasper White, he unconsciously straightened his back.
He had a unique aura. In his presence, you wouldn't dare be presumptuous.
Most importantly, his voice was incredible to listen to.
It had a bit of a newscaster's cadence—clear and perfectly articulated—unconsciously commanding respect.
They made some small talk, and upon hearing that Chester Sawyer was a student admitted to Aethelgard University on recommendation, Jasper White smiled and praised him for being outstanding. This made Chester scratch his head, a little embarrassed.
