"What's my…type of music? What kind of question is that, you idiot?!" Rose asked while her eyebrow raised. "Ahaha!! It ain't the question you should worry about! It's the answer! Now, hurry up and spit it out, woman! What's your favorite kinda music-"
"You know I'm technically 100 plus years old…right?"
Kai's smile slowly disappeared…he just stood up straight and looked at Rose with a blank expression on his face. "Yo….what? You're a old lady? Yo, Joey! You like them old or something-"
"HOW DARE YOU?!" Rose gasped. "I'm also young! If I hadn't been cursed, I wouldn't be over 100 years old!"
"That's not the point, child. Joey…really was tricked bad." Kai sighed. "Well, mind if I play my own jam?" Kai asked as he snapped his fingers. His jinn weapon fell from the sky and landed behind him.
Rose's eyes widened as she looked at the weapon. (A jinn slayer weapon?! That box…it's his weapon! I'll act fast and-)
"Nope." Kai whispered in her left ear. Before Rose could even react, Kai had slapped her and caused her to go flying backwards from th force.
Rose used her roots to catch her body and stop it. Kai's handprint was ingrained into her skin, as she looked up and watched Kai shake his hand. "That was some force. Won't even full power!" Kai laughed as he began stretching. "Oh, yeah, don't touch my music box, yeah? You do that again, I'll try to take your head off, okay?"
Rose smiled hard as her aura built up. (This guy…is strong!)
(I can tell by just hitting her, she's gonna be a pain in the ass. Her energy is thick and powerful!)
A beat played low in the background, playing slightly louder than the smooth wind itself in the night breeze. Kai's energy began to rise up, his feet and arms began pumping. (What's he doing?)
"Jazz music…good for the soul!" Kai said as he began beating on his chest with one arm, causing a small earthquake. "Turn…UP THE VOLUME!!" The music grew louder and Kai's energy rises even higher. "Here I come!!" Kai yelled as he dashed towards Rose with incredible speed.
"Jinn attack-"
"NOPE!!" Kai kicked Rose in her chest, giving her a hole the size of a baseball. Rose jumped back an immediately heals his wounds. (How could I have forgotten already. I was so lost…from Joey, I had forgotten all about this man's ability. I can't destroy the music box…the one thing I can do…is to kill him and try to match his movements. That's only if he can match mine though!)
Rose flipped her body, she caught a glimpse of Kai doing the same thing. (Are you kidding me?! That's already one movement! I'll be…unpredictable!)
Rose, without touching the ground, seeming jumped from the air itself and above the forest area. Kai also copied these movements with ease.
"Ahaha! You aren't normal! Your an anomaly!!" Rose laughed as she slapped her hands together.
Roots shot at Kai while he was in the air. Kai made a weird face as the roots threw off his jinn energy. "Ahh…the roots…are extensions of her body!!" Kai laughed as he landed on the roots and dodged each one with ease.
(This ain't good. Copying her main body with the roots also attached…it's damn near impossible to follow all the movements at once.)
Kai grabbed onto one of the roots and used it to launch himself across the sky an towards Rose.
Kai landed in front of her, he quickly threw out a jab that was slapped away. Rose countered with a wide overhand, but Kai used his right arm to block the powerful punch.
Kai dropped to his back and simply tapped Rose on the leg.
"What the hell-" Rose was launched away from a powerful force of jinn energy. Kai flipped back onto his feet and quickly pursued the jinn that was falling from the sky.
Rose faced Kai while falling, putting her hands together. "Jinn attack: Roots of annihilating light!"
glowing roots shit from the ground, five of them to be exact. Kai looked around rapidly before making the decision to fall straight down towards the ground, as the roots shot a powerful red beam that connected in the middle. Kai dove towards the ground head first, his hair pulled back and going into a frenzy from the powerful winds.
Kai landed on the ground and began running in the opposite direction. The beam of energy pierced through all of the trees as Kai avoided it, moving in and out and jumping over trees that were falling. "Ahahaha!!! Hahahaha!!!" Rose's laughs echoed through the forest while Kai continued to run.
Suddenly, there were now multiple beam raining down from above and chasing Kai. Kai grabbed onto a tree branch while running, using the momentum from his speed to launch himself faster through the forest. (Slippery little-)
The beams began to speed up. Kai landed on the ground again, this time, he stomped his left food into it, making a tree pop from the ground and land in both his arms. "Aaauuggh!! Kai yelled as he launched the tree at the beams in the sky. The tree reflected the beams an cussed mini explosions that Kai used to launch himself even faster through th forest.
"Tsk. Where are you running to?! Get back here!" Rose yelled as hundreds of roots appeared in front of Kai.
(This…is amazing! My energy is low, but I can do it. I'll copy them all! With fast movements!)
Kai planted his feet in the ground and jumped backwards. The roots surround him, getting closer and closer towards him to rip him apart. "ALRIGHT!!!!" Kai laughed as he jumped to the ground and moved at speeds even Rose herself couldn't read.
Suddenly, her body froze for a moment. In that quick moment, Kai leaped into the sky and punched the jinn back towards the ground with his power.
Rose hit the ground, her body dragging across the ground and leaving a crater. Rose jumped on her two feet immediately and locked eyes with Kai, who was standing above her on top of a tree.
"How in the world-"
"It's because I'm me." Kai replied as he gave Rose a thumbs-up.
"Tsk. Don't…" Rose whispered as she slowly walked towards Kai.
"Huh?" Kai gasped.
"DON'T YOU DARE LOOK DOWN ON ME!!!" Rose said as roots formed behind Kai. (Where did these come-)
"Jinn slayer attack: Great-"
Natalia swooped in and kicked Rose across her face, knocking Rose down. Rose looked up to see Kai was gone.
(Natalia. She's the one who ruined this! Kai also found a way to copy my root movements along with my own! Kai…ain't a normal human!)

"Leave us, Natalia!!! This is MY fight!" Kai yelled out as he emerged from the darkness.
"Jinn slayer attack: Decaying wind!" Rose chanted as a strong breeze pushed Kai's hair back.
(Just now….) Kai thought as he avoided Rose's roots. (That wind.)
Thousands of roots shot up from the ground trying to grab Kai. Kai moved his body and avoided each one of her attacks. (I can't see where she is! Use your energy, Kai! Locate the enemy!)
Kai used his jinn energy and could see through the ground itself. Rose had entered a sleeping state, locking herself inside of a thick seed surrounded by jinn energy. (Ahh…her heart, eyes while closed, toes, hair, arms and legs. All in different places and even some not working. It's like…she's dead.)
"Heh…nice counter, Rose." Kai said with a smirk as he was then cut on his arm, but it healed almost instantly.
"Tsk!" Kai leaped into the air and used the trees to navigate through the forest and trees. (I have to die to copy her. I don't know where Joey or Natalia are either, I'm gonna need some help with dealing with this jinn!)
Kai flipped and landed on his two feet. Before he could make a move, small spikes pierced his feet.
(I can't move-)
Kai was then hit with a thick tree, knocking the man back. The music began to slow down as Kai looked around urgently. (These spikes…I can't move from the ground!)
"Ahahaha!!! Now this, is a fight, ROSE!! Watch…watch what I can do!!"
(I remember a few months back. I read a story of a man who had shielded his wife from a dangerous entity. The entity then killed him, but left his wife. A man with no thought of his own life, protected his lover. Bravery. Compassion. Trust in self. THAT is what life is about to me! To experience these events, and to truly know myself!)
Kai looked down at the ground and put all of his remaining energy into his left fist. "To be a strong man that others can rely on! To be the one who people cry out for when they need help! That…is why I strive to be!!" Kai laughed as he punched th ground. As his fist connected with the ground, he imagined a tall man walking beside him on the beach.
(It'll be enough…to fight you one day.)
Kai cracked open the ground, revealing Rose's shell. "Gotcha! Tryna run away, huh?!" Kai charged at the shell, preparing to break it.
Rose bursted from the shell and crossed her fingers.
(He's gonna copy my movements. Even with everything going on, he's just…incredibly gifted. I have no choice but to use it.)
"Ritual!"
