Chapter 110 - Round 2.

"What…what in the world is going on over there?" Xavier asked as he pushed himself up. Lily looked over and ran over towards him. "Don't get up. Your body still needs to rest up-"

"Don't be a fool!!" Xavier yelled. Xavier stood up for a moment, but immediately dropped to a knee. (The human body…so fragile.) Xavier thought as Lily held out her hand.

"Here." She said. "Take my hand, Xavier." Xavier looked at her hand and smirked. "Look at me…even…even you look down on me!" Xavier laughed as he slapped Lily's hand away. Xavier stood up on his own and limped towards the edge of the building.

"I know god has plans for us all, but I don't plan on watching this! I refuse…I refuse to simply be born in this world and live my life accordingly by some greater being! I'm Xavier Mighty, from the mighty clan. These people behind me can stay put! Be left to watch the strong fight! I can't just live and live life! I'm special…I WILL BE SOMETHING!!!"

"Xavier…."

(For some reason…I sense fear, sadness, and anger…all in one from inside him. What's the matter with him?) Lily thought as Xavier picked up his jinn weapon.

"Do no go down there. You'll die-"

"Death. Some people are afraid of death. Some people don't fear death. Some people fight for death. Some try to avoid it. Some try to approach it. We're jinn slayers, Lily. We have a role to always approach deathan put our lives on the line for comrades . I know you didn't save us, so I refuse…to let Ahana…that damn brat do this on her own against that monster. This once, we owe Ahana…we can do that by helping her fight. Unlike you, I don't fear death. My only fear…is not being great. To live in fear is also another fear of mine. I wouldn't expect…someone who's gone through nothing to understand."

Lily grabbed Xavier by his wrist and squeezed it tightly. "What the hell are you saying?! Don't talk to me that way! You know nothing!!" Lily said, her voice getting more tense.

(Her grip…what's with this strength?) Xavier was brought to his knees as Lily continued to squeeze his wrist.

Jodi jolted his eyes open and looked around. "Lily? What're yo doing?!" Jodi ran over and pulled Lily off. Xavier looked down at his wrist, a large bruise covered it. He slowly lifted his head and locked eyes with Lily. "You…idiotic…damn child acting piece of…if you ever lay a hand on me again…I promise…(I'll kill you…I will kill you Lily!!)

"No, he's so dumb! Let go of me!" Lily yelled as she tried to push Jodi off.

Xavier reached behind his back and clutched a blade in his hand. (Damn dog!)

******

"Your light, huh? What interesting choice of words." Malice chuckled as he slowly marched towards Ahana. "What will you do? You can't use that pretty eye of yours. Your energy is low- jinn and spiritual. And to top it all off…you can barely stand. That ain't good, Ahana. Show me what you can do. I was told your strong. Show me…what god's chosen one can do!" Malice put his bottom two hands together an smiled.

"Ritual: Bloom of the everbloom Ascendant."

It happened. Ahana was now fully inside Malice's ritual. Five massive petals floated above Malive's head, and the moon was a bright and bloody red. Nothing but darkness and millions of falling pink petals covered Ahana's view.

(Ahh…I'm not really sure how to get out of this…remember, Ahana. Remember who and what you are. Joey said…one day I can't rely on my eye.) Ahana tried to look around for Malice, but couldn't find the jinn due to all of the petals and bright lights blinding her. "Petal onslaught." Malice growled from the darkness.

One of the giant petals in the sky inside of the ritual began to burn from pink flames. All of the petals around Ahana flipped and sharpened themselves. "You've gotta be-"

"Infinite petal bullets: fusion type… petal pressure strike!"

Ahana quincly pulled out her thick sword and began deflecting the petals.

(Impressive…even with this amount of petals, she can still track their movements! Good…GOOD!)

Malice ran and appeared behind Ahana, bursting through the large crowd of petals. "Don't you dare forget about me, girl!" Malice laughed.

"Jinn weapon Bloombound Staff attack: Petal storm!"

The Bloombound staff jinn slayer weapon. It consists of three attacks and only three. The great petal storm attack: a rapid volley of flower-energy projectiles that can hit multiple enemies or a singular person. Each strike/petal will slow, disorientate, and open the opponent to vulnerability. A simple way to put it…debuffs.

This added with the petal bullets fused with petal pressure strike causes a rather unique and powerful combination.

Ahana immediately used her last small amount of jinn energy and put it around her body. Instead of the petal bullet that were infused with petal pressure point penetrating her body, they instead scratched her body, decreasing the amount of damage she would have taken beforehand.

The petal storm and petal bullets did lost of damage to Ahana, leaving her covered in a pool of blood.

Her vision became blurry, her legs weak, illusions all around her. She was and felt like…she was in hell itself.

(Find him. Don't let this stop you. Locate…his jinn energy! Through senses!!) Ahana thought as she turned her head an dashed directly towards Malice.

"Oh?" Malice said as he blocked Ahana's fist.

(Even with her still taking the infinite bullets, she still wants to fight? I thought she'd try to run away or something, but I guess she even knows that's futile. What will you do, Ahana? These bullets won't stop until you're dead). Malice thought, as he used his bottom right arm and punched Ahana on her side. Ahana was sent flying across the darkness, hitting against an object.

(One attack….one attack that he won't see coming. To make it worse…each bullet is doing critical damage! One attack that doesn't require jinn energy…one he won't see coming is this!)

Ahana burst through the pink petals, running at the massive jinn once again. "Jinn weapon-"

Ahana jumped up and hugged Malice's face. Before Malice could react, Ahana leaned back and made a finger gun. "BANG!!" Ahana yelled as a great force shot and pierced through Malice's face. Malice quickly tossed Ahana away, as he stumbled back and lifted head to reveal the great deal of damage Ahana caused.

The ritual ended, as Malice began to laugh from excitement. (So she's found a counter. It's a rather simple one…one that I'll see coming next time.)

Malice put his hands together once again, preparing to cast another ritual.

"Ahahahah!!! Got you! I got you good, you bastard!!" Ahana laughed as Malice began to bleed from his mouth, ears, eyes, and head. "I used a very small amount of my remaining energy, an put it into my "bang" attack that requires no jinn energy at all. Doing that, allowed me to slip even a little of my energy into you, causing enough damage to end your ritual."

"Impressive, you damned child." Malice said as he wiped his mouth. "But…you can't even cast any attacks or stand. What exactly do you plan to do now? The petal pressure point is still having an effect on you. The attack from my staff is also continuing it's effects on you. This…is over, Ahana." Malice said with a grin. "You've lost. You'll die knowing you caused the death of your friend. Not loved by your pathetic brother. You'll die here…all alone with those thoughts running through your head. A damn failure. An annoying…anomaly." Malice said as he squared his feet once again. "Even with the damage, I've already healed my insides and jinn energy entirely. One last ritual…shall end this battle.

"I don't think so." Ahana said as she pulled herself up from the ground. "You haven't realized it yet, but…your energy may have regenerated, but that doesn't mean you've regenerated the full health and structure of your jinn energy. You simply just refill your energy." Ahana took a dee breath, an slowly exhaled.

"Try it if you want, Malice. I dare you."

(Is she bluffing? Tho…is that true? Is there a possibly I only simply regenerate my energy and not the quality? Like rust on metal…I can always keep hammering away at it, reforming and shaping its quality. However, me just keeping the metal a thing…will eventually turn to rust overtime and the new energy that's underneath.)

Malice pulled both his bottom hands apart and only smiled at Ahana. "Very well." Malice said as he teleported directly in front of Ahana. The jinn pulled his bottom left arm back, preparing to punch Ahana. Ahana used her sword and blocked the punch by flipping it sideways.

She was launched into the air. Malice quickly swung his chains and tossed it towards her. "Petalbound flail: Looming eclipse strike!" Three petal symbols appeared within Ahana's shoulder. She looked to her left shoulder to see them.

"Burst and mix." Malice said as the symbols then exploded from within Ahana, her blood shooting out from her shoulders.

Ahana ignored it and went on the defensive, blocking and avoiding the six arms the jinn had.

"Bloombound staff: Thornsong sweep!"

Gravity itself altered Ahana's movements, as she began to now float with no control. Malice then landed a blow, punching Ahana in the face. "Not yet!" Malice laughed as he grabbed Ahana by her shirt, pulling her towards him. He used his left middle hand while he used his two bottoms to pull her in.

"Petalfire scythe: petal cleave!!" A large gash appeared across Ahana's stomach. She was then tossed into a nearby building, crumbling it in the process from Malice's brutal force.

"Ahahaha!! Who's laughing now, brat?! This goes to show…you're nothing more than a child. A weak…child! You are nothing without the eye of the king!" Malice yelled out.

Ahana's shoulder was bursted open, Her legs were shaking aggressively from tiredness, a huge gash across her midsection, and little to no jinn energy. Even with all this…Ahana got up and still limped towards Malice, wanting to fight.

"Tsk. Why…why don't yo just give up?! It's over! Lay down and die, Ahana! You…aren't strong enough to win or get revenge. This…is where you'll die-"

"Die? Heh…nah, the fight is clearly just getting started. You…you really…don't have a clue who I am." Ahana whispered as she held out her other arm.

(I'm not sure where you are or what you're doing, but I need my second sword. Sorry, Joey.)

Ahana's second sword flew into her opposite hand. "No jinn energy and physically messed up…you STILL can't kill me?!" Ahana said as a smirk appeared on her face.

"I don't fear death. I don't care about my injuries, nah…I care about winning and killing you!" Ahana flew at Malice with greater speed than before, catching him off guard.

(Her speed-)

Malice used his spear to block one of her swords, but Ahana spun around, as the second sword looped around Malice's back.

(She has them connected to a small chain! It's acting as if I'm fighting two people at once…smart AND impressive!)

Malice used the scythe to block the second sword. Ahana let go of her swords and charged up a small amount of jinn energy, as she landed a fierce punch to the jinn's midsection.

Malice was pushed back, as Ahana caught her swords and ran at him. Malice used his claws, pressing them into the ground to stop himsel. He lifted his head and swung the massive scythe towards Ahana. Ahana narrowly avoided the slash, as it traveled and destroyed a nearby building.

Ahana fell to her knees, but used the momentum from her speed to slide across the ground and slash open Malice's midsection. "Jinn slayer attack: Scented mirage."

"Jinn slayer weapon…petalbound whip: fragrant chain strike!!"

Illusions of Harvey appeared all round Ahana. "You…killed me, Ahana." Harvey said.

"What-what's this-no…no, why would you-"

"YOU KILLED HIM AHANA!!!" Malice yelled as the chain hit against her arm, causing her to freeze in place.

"Jinn slayer attack: Petal Chorus!" Ahana was blown away by a loud sound that came from the sky, as she was launched into a building. (That attack disrupts her concentration. That along with the effect from the chain, making my illusions even more powerful. I win.)

Ahana began bleeding from her head now. Blood poured as she had a frightened look on her face. "Ahana, why'd you do it?" Harvey asked as he sat next to her. "Why'd you have to go and get me killed?"

"Stop it."

"We were so close. So close to finally…having a little freedom."

"I said stop-"

"ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS LISTEN TO YOUR BROTHER!! But, then again, everything and everyone you come in contact with…you always hurt them."

"Sto-"

"No one loves you. No one cares for you. You're just a damn weapon. A weapon for Joey! Joey doesn't give a rats ass about you and that's the truth!"

"STOP IT!!!" Ahana jabbed her sword into Harvey, killing him on the spot.

Ahana began to shake, her teeth clicking against each other, her shoulder shaking. "You killed me…an you wanna throw the attitude?" Harvey's voice whispered in her right ear.

Before Ahana could react, Malice ran up and kneeled Ahana in her chest, causing the building to completely fall as she rolled out from the other side. Ahana rolled on her back, looking up at the night sky.

"Ahana." Harvey said as he got on top of her and looked down.

"You…really loved me?"

"….yes-"

"Then why did you kill me? Answer…answer me…"

"I didn't mean to-"

"You did."

"No-"

"Say it. Say…"I meant to kill you" say it, Ahana."

"….."

"You're pathetic. You're always…a problem for people. All this power and you want one thing…love. I didn't care about you, Ahana. I…hated even looking at you. You vile, disgusting, and deranged being. Even in death, I can't stand the sight of you! Just look at you!! Pathetic! Trash! Waste of life!! There's nothing for you here! It shoudve been you who died, not me!! How could I ever be with such a monster?!" Harvey yelled in her face.

A stream of tears fell from Ahana's eye, as her lips quivered…she sat in silence for a few seconds.

"You're…right." Ahana admitted.

The illusion gave Ahana a confused look. As Harvey tilted his head slightly to the side. "I am…pathetic. Vile. Deranged. Bloodthirsty. Always a problem. Not…not loved. Sometimes, even the bad people in this world…they have something…something they cling to that acts as a light in the darkness. Something they would never harm or bring misfortune to on purpose. Unless your a bottomless pit of darkness…I…am not bottomless. I've come…to learn friendship. Trust. Love and…and so much more sense I met you. Sense…sense I've had Joey all this time. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you. I'm sorry I'm such a burden to people. I'm sorry I struggle with not killing or wanting to. I'm sorry I don't listen. I'm sorry I'm a problem in everyone's story…their lives. But…Harvey, Joey, and even…Maddy have taught me things I didn't even know I could ever learn. Not about fighting or killing, but about being human…about being normal. About being a kid. I'm a dark person…there's no mistaking that. I refuse to let…some illusion and some decreased fighting spirit abilities. I know you're not Harvey, because Harvey would say just because you're in the dark, doesn't mean you can't see yourself…finally see yourself. Without the judgement. If you think you're insignificant…if you feel you don't matter, take…a long hard look at the loved ones around you. See your worth in their eyes and you'll find significance. If you've made too many mistakes…if you feel unworthy, you can find acceptance. You can find…forgiveness. There is…there is still time. Still time to see the light all around you, no matter how small…and to use that light to climb out of the darkness stronger than ever." Ahana said, as her energy began to build up.

Ahana thought about the laughs, the bad times, good times, struggles, nights going hungry, Joey, Maddy, Harvey, ect. Everything flew through her mind like water in a river.

(My spells aren't having effects on her?!) Malice thought as he stopped walking and only now stood still. For the first time this fight…Malice felt uneasy.

"There's still time….to grow and change. Still…ahahaha! Joey…thank you for everything." Ahana said as she got up and walked slowly towards Malice, her bright golden energy shined bright in the night. Ahana lifted her head to reveal her eye of god had grown back, her energy like a bright monster that roared within the darkness.

Beta stood on the aircraft in shock. She slammed her staff on the ground and focused on Ahana. "No matter…Malice will be victorious."

Lily, Jodi, Jackson,Wraith, Ghost, and Xavier all looked towards Ahana. "Told you she didn't need our help." Lily said while looking at Xavier. "Tsk."

Each step Ahana took, left a burning sensation on the ground. (Her energy is at full capacity. Maximum strength. Heh…go-)

A small light shot at Malice, Malice leaned his head to avoid the beam of energy. Ahana teleported behind Malice, she waved her hand across, as multiple golden circles formed across Malice's body.

A few moments had past, but 4 of malice's arms were blown off and parts of his massive body. Malice immediately regenerated his wounds, as he flew over, grabbed a small house and launched it at Ahana. Ahana held out one finger, making the house go into the air. "Belongs to you." Ahana said as she launched it back at Malice. Malice used his scythe to slice through the house like butter. Malice stood firm and tall…looking up at Ahana while she floated above him. "I'm not sure exactly how…but you've managed to recover the eye in a rather short amount of time. Amazing…this is starting to excite me, Ahana!!" Malice roared, his jinn energy rising even higher.

Ahana looked down at her arms and swords. "Yeah. It's not too late…to get out." Ahana whispered to herself as a smile rose from her face. "Let the real fight….start now!"

"Raauuggghhhh!!!!!" Malice roared, as his jinn energy began burning everything in its path, like a solar flare headed towards Ahana and the other side of the town. Ahana let go of her swords and immediately held out both her hands, responding by raising her own jinn energy, pushing against Malice's pink and bloodthirsty red energy.

"Woah, woah, woah!!" Jackson yelled as he grabbed onto Wraith's hand. "Hang on!!" Jodi yelled, using an electrical barrier to protect everyone.

Xavier slowly walked towards the edge of barrier, stunned and amazed by their powers. "Just…look at them go. Astounding! These two…these two are on a whole other level!" Xavier Moaned sofly. (Can a mere human like me…really ever reach such power?)

******

Ahana an Malice were soaring around the town, both unleashing their attacks and Malive using his unique weapons. Destruction and chaos followed behind them as the two were no longer pulling punches. "Jinn attack: Petal burst!"

Hundreds of petals fell from the sky and exploded around Ahana. Due to her vast expansion of abilities, she was able to control space itself around her, causing the petals to not do any damage or make contact.

(The last time I felt this way…was when…wait, what are these memories? Are they…mine? Able. Able was his name. A true warrior…a true friend….why am I thinking of such a person at a time like this?)

Malice thought as Ahana burst through the dust, grabbing the jinn by the face and tossing him away. "Bang!"

The force hit Malice back with even more force and speed. Malice flipped his body upward and put his bottom two hands together while chanting multiple attacks quickly.

"Jinn slayer attack: Nectar gate!"

"Bloombound staff attack: Petal shield break!"

"Jinn attack: Blossoming Eclipse!!"

Multiple sparks of red and pink aura shot throughout the area. Ahana held out both her arms and raised them over her head. A force had negated all of Malice's attacks at once.

"I see…" Malice said to himself as Ahana held out two fingers.

(The bang attack!) Malice covered his midsection in response, but Ahana had other plans.

She pulled Malice towards her using an invisible force. Malice used his two bottom hands and grabbed onto a building to stop it. Ahana then used her right hand to pick up a nearby house and launch that at Malice.

Malice smirked as he intentionally let the house hit him, creating debris that blinded Ahana.

"Don't think for a second…that this lower crap is gonna work on me." Ahana said as she clapped her hands together, creating a shinning ball of energy that sucked in everything, acting as a mini black-hole in a way.

Malice Quincy tapped a piece of the house with his foot and said "bloom step!" Malice had cleared hundreds of yards in a second to avoid Ahana's ball.

Ahana noticed this and canceled her attack. (Her attacks and defense is great. I don't know what she'll throw at me. It's like…she can do anything she wants. And to top it off…I feel that energy from her bang attack slowly ripping away from my insides. If this fight keeps up any longer or if I keep chanting attacks…I'm finished. I have about 10 minutes left, but that's enough time. Do I do it? Do I tak the risk? The first landing was nothing more than a mere taunt. She doesn't know about my real ability when she's caught in it. So what? What do I do?)

"You're thinking about using your ritual, aren't you?" Ahana asked as she flaoted upside down while whispering in Malice's left ear.

"Jinn slayer-"

"Golden strike."

A fast and powerful light shot though Malice's chest, sending the jinn crashing through multiple buildings. Ahana flipped herself upright and just looked up at the sky.

(Everything is slowly falling into place. I'm at a whole different level right now. Why is that? I couldn't do this before, right?)

Malice stood up and took a deep breath. "Hehehe….AHAHA!!! Screw it." Malice said as he made a hand sign.

Malice knew the risk of casting his ritual once again, possibly harming his jinn energy completely and not being able to use it in this fight.

Knowing the situation, he activated one of his abilities: Petal regrowth.

Not focusing on just his physical body, but his spiritual energy and jinn energy. Malice was hoping to repair his burning jinn energy with his healing ability, thus, allowing him to keep on using…

"Ritual."

However…Malice hadn't realized it, but Ahana had already layed out her own ritual…hitting him with it before he could chat.

******

Malice was standing alone in the clouds. A golden bright sun with a golden bright castle was in the horizon. Malice's skin burnt ever so slightly, but it still stung. "This is…her ritual?" Malice noticed all of his jinn weapons were gone, his body healed, and he now had only two arms.

Malice looked near the great castle to see Ahana flying towards him slowly. Malice's body naturally used jinn energy to reduce the effects of Ahana's ritual, however…this was just the beginning.

"Malice. Once known as Elias. Elias Bloodstone-"

Malice's eye twitched. (Ahahaha!!! Daddy, come here! Look at this!)

(I'm proud of you, Elias.)

(My brother! Look at him go!)

(Elias! Elias! Elias! Elias!)

(You're crazy strong! You should try to become a jinn slayer!)

(You can do it! You can make it out of here…to a place far away!)

Malice snapped out of it and looked up to see a piece of golden cloud falling towards him. Malice dropped to all fours and pushed himself off the the cloud he stood on. The golden cloud clashed with the normal one.

"It's positive energy/light energy. The same energy that angels use. One hit from anything with that energy, it'll kill me in a single shot."

Ahana pointed at Malice…as hundreds of golden spears formed and launched at the jinn.

"Blossom step…multiple steps!"

As Malice entered his own domain, petals covered the area, but were quickly being melted away. Malice was now behind Ahana, his claws ready to strike, but Ahana, tracked every movement.

(She…can see me?)

"It's simple. I can track your energy pretty good, now. Try something else, Malice." Ahana said as she grabbed Malice by the throat. Malice smiled as he tried to grab Ahana, but a force stopped him from doing so.

Ahana threw Malice closer towards the castle. Malice stopped himself as the tattoos on his arms began to glow bright red. (I won't be able to survive in the next 2 minutes! On top of that, if I get hit by even one piece of anything inside this ritual, I'll die. That's only because of her pure energy-)

Ahana teleported above Malice, she put her hands together and slammed them down on Malice's arms. Malice was pushed towards multiple golden clouds.

Malice flipped his body and flew around the clouds to avoid them. While he was flying, a golden wall suddenly appeared in front of Malice. He quickly flew upward and was met with a golden rain.

(I understand it now.) Malice thought as he used his shield ability to block the incoming rain.

(Ahana's ritual…grants her the ability to create whatever it is her mind can think of! Thus, killing a jinn in a single blow!)

"YOU TRULY ARE GREAT, AHANA!! WHAT A MAGNIFICENT RITUAL!!" Malice laughed as he blew the rain away and held out his left arm.

Ahana looked down at Malice while flying towards him. She immediately could see the hunger in his eyes and the loneliness filled within them.

(Those eyes of solitude. He's itching to find th source of my strength. Malice, can you…achieve anything you put your mind in terms of jinn energy? Are you the same as…as me when it comes to strength and loneliness?)

Ahana was surprised to see a smile crossing Malice's face.

It was like a devil in heaven, Malice spreaded his arms out and turned off his jinn energy entirely. His body began to slowly melt away as he locked eyes with Ahana. The bright golden sun shined down on the two, a poetic view-a beautiful one to the human eye. (I won't get left behind. What if…I go deeper then deeper? Bring out the outmost potential in my energy. Jinn energy…there's things beyond that. Just like this angelic energy, there's demon energy. Can I, a jinn, do the same? Obtain demon-like energy? If one were to…suppress all their emotions…and slam all of the negative properties of jinn energy into one…then multiply it against all of the negative properties, it should create….a brand new system of energy!)

It shouldn't be possible, but for natural talent of the great servant family of the mighty clan, it could be or can be possible. Malice…had broken the laws and rules of energy itself in this very moment.

(Light (lumina) and dark (obsidian) are natural counterforces. Jinn energy is the obsidian…while energy like Ahana's is like lumina. If I multiply all of the negative…and divide it it equally amongst each other…I can then have my jinn energy act as light…creating what I'll call: Aether energy.)

In that very moment of thought, Malice had…made history amongst jinns and the entire world itself. His pink and red aura was now complimented with a unique green energy. (I don't have to do damage to her to stop the affects of her ritual. Not when hers lands. I guess our properties are different-)

Ahana flew into the sky, directly in front of the sun. She held out her arms and looked up at the sun. (I don't know what that energy is, but it's bad! I'm ending this…NOW!!)

"Jinn slayer attack: judgement ray of hope!"

Malice turned his body to the side and pointed at Ahana. (This whole place is going golden…and I'll probably die. I'll simply…see if doing damage to her will be enough before her attack launches and destroy her ritual!) Malice thought as a sudden crack in the sky grew larger.

(My ritual can't hold the large amounts of energy?!) Ahana looked back at Malice, who was charging up his energy. "Do it! Deactivate the ritual, Ahana!" Malice laughed as he was preparing to unleash his attack.

"Tsk. Don't you dare doubt me!" Ahana yelled as the entire area brightened up to a bright gold. Malice was stunned an surprised from Ahana's move.

******

It was only a second in the real world. A flash of golden light lit the entire area for a moment, only to see a injured Ahana and a burnt Malice standing amongst the ruins of the town.

Ahana was bruised everywhere, small burn marks around her body, and her normal eye was closed from damage, only showing off her eye of god. Malice…standing tall an burnt to a dark coal. The sizzling of his flesh echoed through Ahana's ears.

"When a lot of jinn energy comes in contact, it'll explode like a small nuke. I guess, from our high levels of energy, the ritual couldn't contain all the energy. I knew the risk, but I had to unleash my attack. Thank…goodness this is over-"

"Heh…over?" Malice asked as his body immediately regenerated to normal. "Nice attack. If I didn't have my new aether energy, you would've ended the fight. However, that attack is great at neutralizing jinn energy and jinns. Not a jinn with a different type of energy."

"Nah, that's not true. You would've been dead if I only I hadn't ignore the energy still inside your body, flowing like water. I should've… went in to destroy your entire body while you were burnt up." Ahana said as her wounds also healed.

(Right now, my jinn energy is also evolving. I can't rely on my ritual to end this. However, the attack I need will likely destroy and kill everyone inside of this barrier. I need to…destroy Malice's entire body. In a single shot! One that's save for the survivors!)

(Ahana…her energy is replenishing automatically now. How…annoying. She's evolving as we fight, just like I am. With this new energy, it's more than enough to activate multiple affects an abilities all at once. The only bad thing, is her ritual did a big number on my jinn energy, the main source of my new energy. I can't even…summon some of my weapons or my arms. It's fine, she's still gonna lose because she activate her ritual to kill me, I'll be ready next time for it by laying out my own, leaving us in another stalemate. So…what now, Ahana?)

The two locked eyes and took stances once again, breathing in sync, heart beats matching, eyes, stances, and foot gestures. "Ready for round three?" Malice asked.

"Malice…this is where it ends. This is where I kill-"

"Do you know why it is I killed all those people?" Malice asked with a smirk. "I mean, sure, it was to get you out of hiding, but there's a much…scarier reason to it. Have you wondered…why their masters haven't arrived yet?" Malice asked.

"I only heard it in stories from my big brother, but to think….you created a soul eater?"

(So that's why their superiors haven't arrived…I see.)

"What was the point in telling me this?" Ahana asked.

"To give you urgency. You see, there were a large amounts of souls here tonight. Each and every person who was killed here…has become one with the soul eater creature I've created! You know what that means, Ahana?!" Malice laughed.

"That little brat with you, ain't go to heaven or hell! He's trapped! Trapped like a damn dog in a cage!" Malice laughed. "Even if you or they manage to kill the soul eater, your friend will only be tossed into darkness, his soul existing in forever blackness! Only to become one with the bottomless pits of the soulless souls! However, there's still a chance…if his soul hasn't fully processed into the creature yet, he…could possibly…be set free and enter the great kingdom above-"

"Hehe."

Malice's heart began to beat faster than ever. His head began spinning as Ahana continued looking him in the eyes. "So much stuff going on, it's insane. If I kill you, the soul eater dies. You've told nothing but lies…the souls will even be free if the soul eater dies, they just won't be able to go to heaven or hell, they'll be stuck on earth until judgement day. I don't know why you're planning, but that ain't gonna distract me in the slightest. This is where our fight ends. I'm gonna win, Malice. I'm gonna avenge him!"

"Tsk. What a foolish child."

(But still…those voices in her ritual. That name…Elias. Why do I….feel as though I know that person?)
