"Nefra, baby, you're making me dizzy," I grabbed her arm before she cyclones by me again. "What are you looking for?"
"My earrings!" she pulled away, digging through her bag.
This woman would be my downfall.
'Could you at least put clothes on?' I'd seen her naked already, but there was something deliciously tormenting about Nefra in a towel.
"What earrings?" I hadn't seen any earrings.
"I carry a pair in my bag in case I go out for dinner."
"Wouldn't they be in your jewelry box?" That was at Luke's house. The only clothes I'd brought to the clinic were comfy things to relax in. "I can get someone to grab it."
"No," she snarled at me as if I'd said something offensive, and I took a step back. "I keep them here so I always have them. My necklace and bracelets are here, but not the earrings that match."
"Were they expensive?" That's the only reason for her getting this upset. I'll have Tay get her a new pair, but that would have to wait until tomorrow.
