"Shouldn't we stop her?" someone asked, but no one did.
I know what I'm doing, though some assumed this was because of my heat. Jessica could've run, but she attacked.
Not as smart as she thinks she is, because I would've stopped if she'd run.
However, I won't say she's helpless because she's not.
The problem is, Jessica's never had to fight to defend herself, and I have.
'Sad that Ricky taught you how to do this.'
She got a few hits in, her hands fast enough that I couldn't see her, but she left herself open.
"Bitch!" I screamed as she caught my cheek again, but I stopped her last strike before she got me again.
Both of us were running on adrenaline, hair wild and tangled, and covered in sweat. Whatever civility we had was long gone, but we're losing steam.
The only thing keeping me from collapsing is rage.
'She looks at you as a threat to your own.'
'She wants to take Ivan because she thinks you're not capable. It's not even that you're not worthy.'
