Instead of continuing to guess, Cyrinthiea eventually leaned forward and stopped the bickering between Yuyui and the boy, which seemed to have been primed to last for an eternity. The two were now arguing about the boy's ball for some reason. Yuyui was daring the boy to fetch it so that she could prove it was blue (from what she remembered) and not green.
"Enough," Cyrinthiea commanded. With the twitch of their finger, they made Yuyui turn sharply and face them. The Unlimited Star shuddered. "Something still doesn't add up. Enthanamos' scent wouldn't have lingered so long on you if you'd merely passed by him. You were with him a while, weren't you? Explain."
Another command that Yuyui couldn't ignore. Her cheeks inflated as she attempted to pull back the answers. They surged like vomit. She paled.
…But strength slithered sneakily into her soul again, empowering her. She didn't need to struggle to lie. All she needed to do was give half-truths.
