Subossais grunted, but neither confirmed nor denied.
After Amanas rose and pierced the Obscurosphere, he'd shown no sign or desire to lead Skullius back to Sector TIU (B) – to the Tors Gate. The Hybrid had immediately suspected the worst.
"No answer, huh?" said Skullius, and he kicked away a chunk of ice. "Did your Tors Lampion run out of juice?"
Again, Subossais didn't reply. Skullius sighed. He wondered: Had Subossais already been triggered to the point of wanting to fight him right here, right now? Were his taunts that effective?
